3 Nights, 2 Rounds
- 3 Nights Bed and Breakfast at Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel
- 1 Round at Secret Valley Golf Club
- 1 Round at Elea Faldo
3 Nights, 2 Rounds
Perched on a sandy bay just under two kilometres from Paphos Harbour, the Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel is a smart, beachfront base that works brilliantly for a Cyprus golf break. You're close enough to stroll out to local shops and restaurants when you don't fancy another night in the hotel, but far enough from the busier parts of the resort to feel properly switched off after 18 holes.
From a golf point of view, it's a handy launch pad for the area's best layouts. Elea Golf Club, Nick Faldo's design, is the closest and a good test when you want something a bit more exacting. Secret Valley and Minthis Hills give you contrasting styles and scenery, while Aphrodite Hills is the headline day out for plenty of golfers coming to Paphos for the first time. If you like variety across a few rounds, you're in the right part of the island.
Back at the hotel, the setting does a lot of the work. The gardens open out towards the sea, there's space to spread out around the pools and there's enough on-site to keep non-golfers happy too, which is always a win for mixed groups and couples. If you're the type who wants golf by day, a swim and a drink by the water, then an easy evening down at the harbour, Athena Beach ticks those boxes without trying too hard.
Who is this for?
Golf groups and couples looking for a well-equipped, comfortable spot within easy reach of Paphos's best courses, plus the shops, bars and restaurants of the harbour area.
Who is it best for?
Golfers who want variety in their golf, quality facilities back at the hotel, and the option to explore Paphos on foot without needing a hire car for every trip.

Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel is a superior four-star hotel with the sort of facilities that suit golf groups, couples and mixed-ability trips. You've got three freshwater outdoor pools (one heated) plus two paddling pools, along with a waterslide for a more relaxed, holiday feel between rounds. For activities, there's a tennis court, table tennis and volleyball, and the bowls set-up is a real bonus if your group likes a competitive afternoon that doesn't involve a scorecard. The 18-rink outdoor facility and 6-rink indoor option mean you can keep the competition going whatever the weather.
If recovery is higher on your priority list, there's an indoor heated pool, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis and a health spa offering a sauna, Roman steam bath, thalassotherapy, massages, Shiatsu, aromatherapy, reflexology, facials, manicure and pedicure, plus hair salon services. It's an easy place to wind down after a hot day on the course. In the evenings, the hotel keeps things lively with shows, musical nights, aqua gym and dancing lessons, though it never feels like you have to join in.
Rooms are spacious, twin-bedded and well equipped, with air conditioning, a balcony or patio, a bath and rain shower, flat-screen satellite TV, direct-dial telephone, fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities. A minibar can be requested if you want to keep drinks and snacks in the room. Staff are used to early starts and can help with practicalities like breakfast timings and local taxi arrangements to the courses, which makes a difference when you're juggling tee times and transfers.
Dining is straightforward and varied. The Atrium main restaurant covers Mediterranean favourites buffet-style, while Zephyr is the à la carte option for a slightly smarter evening with international cuisine. For something lighter, Leda snack restaurant and the Adonis Grill bar by the pool are ideal for lunch or a quick bite before heading out. The grill bar only opens in summer, so if you're visiting in the cooler months you'll be relying on Leda and the main restaurants. Room service runs 24 hours, which is handy if your tee times and transfers make the day run long.
The combination of location, facilities and dining options makes the Athena Beach Hotel a solid pick for golfers who want a sociable, well-equipped spot with easy access to some of Cyprus's best layouts, plus the freedom to explore Paphos Harbour, the archaeological sites and the local restaurant scene without feeling tied to the resort.

Our first room was facing into a main road that had a bar just opposite. It was playing loud music until 1am. The hotel were responsive and moved our room round - these were over an infinity po with water constantly being mi ed which was also loud but at least continuous. The beds and pillows were very soft and not to our taste One of our party party suffered servers sickness and took a day to recover - luckily ut was on the last day

Food first class, staff very friendly. Housekeeping excellent. The hotel hosts over a thousand guests at capacity which it was over Xmas, Don’t stay here if you aren’t a lover of young children .The organisation of the gala dinner on Xmas eve was chaotic.

Very disappointed that single rooms were not booked. I go on several foreign golf holidays every year and I feel that you should have made this clear and given me an option when we discussed the booking. We had to sort this out directly with the hotel and they were very helpful. Calls to YGT achieved nothing.
