5 Nights, 4 Rounds
A stunning course inspired by British heathland design, set on the rolling sand hills of Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, Carya is a truly unique golfing experience. The first course of its kind to be built in Turkey, Carya has since become the number one course in the country, considered a must-play track by golfers across Europe.
Being the top course in Turkey, and among the top 50 in Europe, Carya stepped further into the spotlight as a host venue on the European Tour. Hosting the Turkish Airlines Open since 2016, golfers have flocked to Belek from all over the world to tee it up here, even more so after Justin Rose won the event in 2017.

Spanning a unique sand ridge and carved through mature indigenous woodland that includes pine and eucalyptus, Carya, with its borders edged by heather, is a unique site. The par-72 layout is an amazing feat of modern architecture, which from the back tees measures a substantial 7,186 yards.
The five sets of tees per hole make the course manageable no matter the ability of each visitor, and although it was only unveiled in November 2008, Carya has quickly established an enviable reputation as one of the very best courses in Turkey, and is highly recommended for any visiting golf holiday group.
An added bonus at Carya, when the sun sets, the whole 18 hole championship course is lit up, allowing golfers to play the full course long into the night.

A storm was due to hit and before we teed off boy did it hit. Very heavy, consistent rain so much so that we had to stop after 4 holes played. The main reason were the greens were pooling water and the fairways were getting sludgy. When we arrived back in we hadn’t even asked for a refund yet and the organiser was saying we can go back out as the course is in immaculate condition. I would really like YGT to investigate a refund because this was not the case. When you have to drop on the greens to avoid standing water that is not immaculate to me. We played it before and the course is a beast and the trickiest greens I’ve ever played so this was very disappointing. We did notice many in front of us also came in while we were waiting for our transport.

Brilliant courses immaculately kept played under the floodlights what an experience Play was slow though as group in front played off back tees and held up 4 groups behind with there wayward shots My favourite course in Belek

The course was not in its best condition this year. The starter would not allow our two and three ball groups to go out first which meant a slow round for them. When darkness fell the greens became very damp and slow. The lighting experience spoils the days enjoyment rather and we will not take a late tee time on future trips.
