Set right on the beachfront in Estepona, the H10 Estepona Palace is a four-star base that works brilliantly for a Costa del Sol golf break. You're close to the harbour for an easy wander out in the evening, and you're within straightforward driving distance of plenty of the area's courses, so you can build a strong rota of tee times without spending half your trip in the car.
Style-wise, it leans into classic Andalucian character, with a Moorish-inspired frontage, then switches to a cooler, contemporary feel once you're inside. That mix actually suits golfers, because it feels "holiday" without being overly formal. The big selling point is how easy it is to split the day: get your round in, then come back and genuinely switch off by the sea rather than hunting for somewhere to unwind.
Facilities are geared for downtime, with two outdoor pools plus a separate children's pool, and plenty of space for a post-round recharge. If you like to keep the body moving between rounds, there's a gym, paddle tennis and a spa set-up that includes a sauna, steam room and solarium, which is ideal for loosening up after 18 holes in the sun.
If your group wants golf first, but still wants that resort feel and a proper beach setting, this is a very safe pick in Estepona.

The hotel's layout and design make it an easy place to settle into for a few days' golf. Outside, the Andalucian and Moorish look gives it a bit of personality, and inside you'll find a modern finish with bright, clean surfaces, smart furnishings and seating areas that make the most of the sea views. It's the sort of place where you can do the "quick shower and out again" routine, or happily linger with a drink and watch the light change over the Mediterranean.
When you're not on the course, the downtime options are solid. There are two outdoor swimming pools for a proper dip, plus a separate children's pool if you're travelling as a family group. On the beachfront, you can stretch out on the palm-fringed sands and make the most of the Andalucian sun, which is exactly what you want on a winter-sun escape or a shoulder-season trip.
For post-round recovery, the spa facilities include a gym, sauna, steam room and solarium, which is a real plus if you're playing multiple rounds in a short space of time. There's also a paddle tennis court for anyone in the group who fancies a change from the fairways.
Food and drink are straightforward and convenient. The open-air buffet restaurant sits among the gardens and offers a broad spread of international dishes, while the Thalassa Bar-Restaurant by the pool is a handy option when you want something relaxed without heading far. In peak season, you can also make the most of the Terrace Mediterraneo chill-out area for panoramic coastal views, and there's live music in the lobby bar from June to September, which adds a bit of atmosphere in the evenings.
Rooms are comfortably equipped with satellite TV, a safe and a minibar, plus a terrace or balcony. Many have sea views, so it's worth requesting them when you book if that matters to your group.

Hotel decent some staff decent some pretty grumpy. We were a rowdy bunch so we did get a few chats from security. The all inclusive food and snacking was excellent. Main resteraunt was fairly poor. Cracking views and main areas very well kept. The carpets looked like they had not seen a carpet cleaner for a good while but overall good hotel

The hotel has been refurbished but not very well, looks like a lot of the money went into the spa area but it’s now an additional €25 a day if you want to use it. Towels for the pool area are free but you have to put €30 per towel as deposit so don’t leave them on your sun bed 😂

The hotel was extremely convenient for the golf trip - great breakfast and selection of food, spacious room but only criticism was air conditioning was mediocre in the heat. Overall though, very good! Only 10 mins from the old town of Estepona which was lovely to visit. Would just like to mention that all our transfers were super reliable - always on time and very friendly staff. Took all the stress out of travelling and to focus on the golf!

Great hotel overall, in a great location if you are playing courses in both Marbella and Gibraltar ends of the coast

This was our 2nd visit to H10 Estepona Palace as a group of 12 golfers, and the service we received could not be faulted. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable base for their golf holiday.

We had 2 Ocean Junior Suites above the entertainment which was fine in September but would have been noisier in Summer months. The cleaners were brilliant and our rooms were spotless. The entertainment staff were excellent and reception very good.

Hotel is a bit dated. Location not brilliant as would prefer not to use Taxi's every night.
