Gloria Verde Resort is a cracking base for a Belek golf break because you are right next door to the Gloria Golf Club set-up. In practical terms, that means you can be on the first tee at Gloria Old, Gloria New or the resort's own Verde nine-hole course within minutes, which is exactly what you want when you are trying to squeeze in as much golf as possible.
Off the course, it is properly geared for golfers. You have two big outdoor pools for a post-round dip, plus a spa with thalassotherapy treatments using mineral-rich seawater, ideal if you have walked 36 holes in the heat. Food-wise, the all-inclusive format keeps things simple and you also get two à la carte options, French and Italian, so you can mix it up rather than living on buffet nights.
If you fancy branching out, you are well placed for the rest of Belek too, with Montgomerie Maxx Royal and Cornelia Golf Club a short drive away. Add in 293 rooms so it feels calmer than some of the larger complexes and you have a resort that does what it says on the tin: good service, easy golf logistics and plenty of downtime in between.
Who is this for?
Golfers who want an easy, walk-to-the-tee Belek base with all-inclusive convenience, a strong spa and enough on-site golf to keep the whole group happy.
Who is it best for?
Groups mixing handicaps. The nine-hole Verde course is ideal for warm-up rounds and beginners, while the Old and New give better players a proper test. Best suited to those prioritising golf logistics and downtime over a big nightlife scene.

Golf can be played on the Gloria Old Course, a Michel Gayon design, with Bermuda fairways & greens as well as 7 lakes to negotiate. The New Course at Gloria meanders through impressive umbrella pines with undulating fairways and plenty of water hazards in place off the tee and the green.
The resort also has a great nine-hole course, called the Gloria Verde. Lying adjacent to the Old Course, the Gloria Verde has been built with two separate sets of tees for each green, to give the feel of a genuine 18-hole layout. The peace and quiet of the short course makes it great for beginners, or just if you fancy a relaxing stroll.
Hole 17 (New Course), Par 3, 148 yards (White Tees), SI 16
Gloria's signature hole is modelled on the well known 17th at TPC Sawgrass, with its tee shot to an island green.
| Par | 36 |
|---|---|
| Opened for play | 2001 |
| Black | 3,328 yards |

| White | 2,787 yards |
| Yellow | 2,902 yards |

Gloria Verde Resort has a large choice of comfortable rooms, villas and suites spread over the resort, all with land or garden views. The resort sits directly next to the golf complex, so you can be on the first tee of the three Gloria courses within minutes of leaving your room, no shuttle required.
Room types range from standard doubles through to family suites, with most offering views over the golf courses or the surrounding pine forest. Décor is contemporary without being flashy, and the layout is designed to keep things quiet and private rather than sprawling across a huge site.
The spa is the standout facility here. The Thalasso Therapy Centre focuses on seawater-based treatments designed to help you unwind and feel looser after a long day on the fairways. Beyond that, you have got indoor and outdoor pools, a well-equipped gym and tennis court, plus full access to the facilities at the neighbouring Gloria Serenity Resort via a complimentary shuttle if you want to nip over for extra bars and evening entertainment.
The all inclusive concept includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form in the Mythos Main restaurants, as well as patisserie and snack restaurants, import and local drinks, soft drinks at bars for 24 Hours. There are 2 a la carte restaurants that are optional and subject to charge plus four snack restaurants during summer season. Guests can also eat at other Gloria properties with a 50% discount.
Belek's beaches are a short walk away, and the town is one of the places in the region where Caretta turtles still come ashore to nest. If you are travelling with non-golfers or just want a change of scenery, the beach is clean, well-maintained and genuinely worth a visit.

Having been quite a few times we were not disappointed with our trip. However it is getting a little tired. We had a junior suite which was ok except the bathroom is very small compared to other hotels.

We were well looked after by all the staff. The only down side was as we had very early tee times we couldn’t get any breakfast!! My air con leaked all night one night but it was fixed next day. The entertainment was disappointing this year - geared towards the Russians!
