Things to do in South Korea

Seoul

Seoul is the capital city of South Korea and is the most populated city in the country. Anyone who is visiting South Korea absolutely must spend at least 3 or 4 nights in Seoul as there is plenty to explore, from taking relaxing strolls down the paths next to Han River, trying out the local street food, or hike up one of the nearby national parks for panoramic views over the city.

Busan

Busan is the second most populated city in South Korea and can be easily accessed by plane, bullet train (KTX) or simply driving down from Seoul. Either way it is worth the visit as you can experience one of the biggest cities whilst being by the coast and having access to some beautiful beaches to relax on. Travel to Taejongdae park to explore the magnificent cliffs facing the open sea and some amazing views of the coastline to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Jeju Island

Just over an hour flight from Seoul with multiple airlines flying every day, it couldn’t be easier to visit the majestic Jeju Island. The volcanic island boasts amazing scenery which is perfect for hiking and exploring and was formed by volcanic eruptions which occurred over a million years ago. Jeju also attracts warmer weather than Seoul and Busan, which makes it an attractive spot to visit all year round.
