- 3 Nights Bed and Breakfast at Hyatt Place Taghazout Bay
- 1 Round at Championship Course
- 1 Round at Tazegzout Golf Course
3 Nights, 2 Rounds
Hyatt Place Taghazout Bay is a 5-star, upscale select-service hotel at the new Taghazout Bay Resort, around 15 kilometres north of Agadir. It sits above the Atlantic Ocean, right beside the 18-hole course designed by Kyle Phillips, so the walk from breakfast to the first tee is about as short as a golf holiday gets. Being next door to the course is what makes this trip so easy to enjoy.
Wake up to ocean views, play a Kyle Phillips layout, then head back to the hotel in a couple of minutes with no shuttles or taxis needed between your room and the course. Fewer logistics means more time on the fairways and more time over a post-round drink replaying the putt you should have holed.
The wider resort is built around sport. Surfing, tennis and football academies all operate to international standards, which gives non-golfing partners and mixed groups plenty to do while the rest of the party is out playing. It also makes Taghazout Bay a smart choice for winter sun. When daylight is short and the course at home is soggy, Morocco offers sunshine, sea air and a proper change of scenery without a long-haul itinerary.
The style here is contemporary and sociable rather than stuffy, which suits golfers who want comfort without the formality. Free breakfast comes with every stay, so you can fuel up and be on the tee early.
If you would rather not spend your evenings chasing deposits and comparing spreadsheets, our Golf Travel Experts will build a package around your dates, number of rounds and group size. We do the legwork, and many of our flight-inclusive packages are financially protected by the ATOL scheme, with specialist support available before you travel and while you are away.
Who is this for?
Golfers, societies and friends' groups after a modern, easy base beside a Kyle Phillips course, couples combining golf with beach and spa time, and anyone keen to add a Moroccan stop to their golfing calendar.
Who is it best for?
Winter-sun seekers, mixed groups with non-golfers in tow, and travellers who value convenience, ocean views and a relaxed, social atmosphere.

Designed by Kyle Phillips, The par 72, 6,730 metre layout at Tazegzout golf course spreads across 76 hectares of land and is perched 80m above sea level, with each hole enjoying breathtaking views of the ocean. The course meanders through the natural Argan vegetation, rising to a crescendo on the final 3 holes, which are played over two deep rocky ravines and finally along the 80m cliff edge.
The finishing holes at Tazegzout Golf are a spectacular test and will provide endless stories to retell on the terrace of the magnificent clubhouse. With a variety of tee positions to suit all golfers abilities, extensive practice facilities, a restaurant on site & large proshop, this new edition to Agadir's golfing portfolio will make for a great visit on any golfing holiday to Morocco.
Hyatt Place Taghazout Bay has 152 spacious guestrooms and suites, designed in a clean, contemporary style that works well for golf groups and couples alike. Every room comes with a plush Hyatt Grand Bed and a cosy-corner sofa sleeper, which is a handy extra if you are travelling with family or simply want somewhere to spread out your kit after a round. Free Wi-Fi runs throughout the hotel, so sorting tomorrow's tee time or sending the scorecard to the group chat takes seconds.
If you are travelling as a couple and fancy a bit more breathing space, the suites are the upgrade to ask about. For friends sharing on a golf trip, the standard guestrooms are a comfortable, sensible option with enough room to recover properly before an early start.
Food and drink is built around convenience, which suits a schedule that bends around tee times. A free Gallery Kitchen breakfast is served daily and included in your stay. For lunch and dinner, The Gallery Café offers a full restaurant menu. If hunger strikes outside normal hours, the 24/7 Gallery Menu & Market stocks takeaway snacks, salads, sandwiches and drinks, ideal before a dawn tee time or after a late finish. The Coffee to Cocktails Bar is the natural meeting spot for a glass of wine or a cold beer while the round gets its full post-mortem.
Away from the course, the 24-hour Stay Fit Gym is there for a warm-up beforehand or a stretch to loosen up afterwards. The outdoor swimming pool is perfect for downtime in the Moroccan sun, and the hotel spa offers a calm place to switch off on slower afternoons between rounds. Meeting spaces for up to 80 guests are also available, which can work well for society prize-givings, team gatherings and corporate golf days.

Great staff who were extremely helpful. The hotel was very clean although downstairs Ladies toilet was smelly all week. In general, a bit old and lacking some facilities. Outside pool furniture a bit dated and steps in places chipped. Rooms had no minibar or USB ports. The breakfast was not great and same every day.

Nice hotel, not much to do on an evening so quiet night in or 30 minute trip into Agidir

When we arrived the hotel allocated two double rooms instead of two twin rooms, in the end one twin room was found but I had to sleep on a cot in a double room. The hotel did find a second room on the next day.

After a three/four hour flight and transfer, it was pleasure to arrive at a hotel situated atop the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic. Of course, it helps to have an ocean view room with balcony, but the whole aspect of the hotel was outstanding. Whilst appreciating we were visiting relatively late in the year, the condition of the carpets on the landings between the rooms was poor, with significant staining in many parts.

Nice setting, but completely isolated. Restaurant was like a cafeteria, food choice very poor, normally cold and not a lot of choice. Stirring your coffee with a wooden stick not what I would call Hyatt quality. No entertainment evenings completely boring. Strange thing a golf course next door which we were not booked on? The courses we played were a 45 minute bus trip away! Will not go back to the Hyatt Place.. Why were we not booked on the course next door? As it was within walking distance from the hotel. The Hyatt Regency is much better situated, on the beach. We had to get a shuttle bus to the Hyatt Regency which was a bit of a pain.

beautiful hotel, although close the golf course it is far from anything else. The food was average and there was no entertainment at all in the hotel. No possibility to play i.e. billiards or any other game.
