- 1 Round at Tenby Golf Club
1 Night, 2 Rounds
The Imperial Dragon Hotel is the first Oriental boutique hotel in Wales, set between the Pembrokeshire coast and countryside just a few miles from Tenby. With only sixteen spacious en-suite bedrooms, it makes a quieter and more characterful base than a busy seaside resort, perfect if your idea of a golf break ends with a good meal and a settled night rather than a late bar crawl.
The hotel has a distinctive feel from the moment you arrive. The rooms are individually styled, the atmosphere is calm and the setting gives you proper breathing space between rounds. There is an award-winning restaurant on site, an oriental flower garden for a quiet moment after 18 holes and a spacious beer garden for groups who like to talk through the round over a cold drink.
The golf is the reason most of us would book. Tenby Golf Club is the star attraction and an easy drive away, while Haverfordwest Golf Club adds a sheltered parkland contrast. Those happy to cover a few more miles can stretch to Ashburnham and Pennard, two of the best seaside tests in Wales, for a proper multi-course trip from a single base. That is where we come in. Tell us your dates and group size and we will do the legwork on tee times and accommodation, so you can focus on the golf.

Who is it best for?
Couples and smaller groups who put good sleep, good food and a quieter end to the day first, plus societies who want one comfortable base and a simple, driveable rota of courses.

The bedrooms at The Imperial Dragon Hotel are individually designed and furnished with plush beds and crisp linens, so you will be well set for a good night's sleep before the next tee time. Every room includes free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a modern private bathroom with a shower over the bath. With just sixteen rooms in total, the atmosphere stays boutique and low-key, which many golfers appreciate when they want to properly switch off between rounds rather than share a lobby with a coach party.
Food is a big part of the stay. The award-winning restaurant, Lokky's, makes evenings easy, especially for groups who would rather stay put than organise taxis and table bookings elsewhere. After a long day on the links, there is something satisfying about walking a few steps for dinner and settling in for the night. If you are travelling as a society or a larger group, it is worth planning dinner timings in advance so everyone can sit down together without fuss, and we are happy to help you factor that into the wider itinerary.
In the morning, breakfast is served in the expansive dining area, with cereals, yoghurts and fruits on the buffet for a lighter start. For something more substantial before an early tee time, the traditional Full English is made with fresh, local ingredients and sets you up nicely for a morning on the course.
Once the golf is done, you have a choice of two very different ways to wind down. The tranquil oriental flower garden is a lovely spot for a quiet moment with a drink, while the spacious beer garden suits a more sociable debrief, complete with a replay of the back nine and the usual debate over who really won the match.
Whether you are planning a quick weekend or a longer golf trip, this is a comfortable and distinctive base that keeps travel simple and gives you something different from the standard chain-hotel experience. Planning a Pembrokeshire golf break? Tell us your dates and must-play courses and we will line up the tee times and accommodation around your group, then keep everything running smoothly from booking to the final putt.

The lady at the front desk could not do enough for us, a continuous smile and even organised an early breakfast for us to achieve our golf time on Sunday morning, she is a credit to the hotel. The rooms were good with plenty of space and the restaurant and food was exceptional.
