Infinitum Golf (formerly Lumine) is a must play destination for anyone enjoying a golf break in sunny Costa Dorada. Infinitum boasts two outstanding championship courses, including one designed by Greg ‘The Shark’ Norman. Both The Lakes and The Hills courses offer very different yet equally enjoyable challenges to golfers of all abilities.
Located in the heart of Costa Dorada, Infinitum is set in a spectacular location, where golfers enjoy championship golf while gazing over Roman ruins, pine forest, olive groves and the shimmering Balearic Sea. Although the Hills is ranked in Spain’s top 40, both courses host the European Tour's Final Stage Qualifying School, as one of the best 36-hole layouts around.

As its name would suggest the Greg Norman designed Lakes Coursewinds its way around the Sèquia Major wetlands so accuracy is key throughout the round in order to avoid a nasty penalty or two. Measuring 6,889 yards from the back tees, The Lakes Course is more than long enough to test the best players in the game and thanks to the intelligent layout and the ever present threat of the lurking water hazards it is also the most technically difficult courses of the three.
As with all of the courses at Infinitum, The Lakes Course is always in superb condition meaning that if you manage the course well and hit greens in regulation you should be rewarded with good birdie chances.

In contrast to The Lakes Course, The Hills Course has been carved through areas of mature white pine, carob and olive trees and features fewer water hazards meaning accuracy is still the order of the day but for a different reason; hit a wayward tee shot here and you will have a chance at recovery. The course follows the natural lay of the land and thus players will have to negotiate sweeping undulations which can effect club selection. Well positioned bunkers and natural landforms also act as defences for the course and while golfers are enjoying the challenge of battling Old Man Par they will be treated to spectacular views of the Balearic Sea. Measuring 6,926 yards, The Hills Course is more than long enough to keep the bombers entertained while a number of forward tee positions make the course more manageable for players with less prowess from the tee.

The Ruins Course is a 9 hole layout designed by Greg Norman among Roman archaeological remains and featuring greens that will test anyone's putting.
Winding between historic archaeological remains dating from the second Century. A picturesque layout, enhanced by plantations of Carob and Olive trees, creates a tranquil environment, the ideal escape for those seeking a quick round, or an additional 9 holes to complete the perfect day.

A great course, excellent condition, good facilities. We played two rounds both just over four hours. Good facilities including well equipped pro shop and large restaurant/bar with comfortable terracing.

The tees and fairways were not great. We had slow rounds with no course Marshalls in evidence. The clubhouse was closed and we had a six minute buggy ride from the Lakes course to the 1st tee. No halfway house or food/drinks cart

This course had just reopened after a lot of rennovation work. In 12 months this will arguabke be one of the best golf courses Ive ever played. I just think its been opened a bit too quickly so we didnt get the full experience. Nonetheless it was incresibly difficult and some of the holes are just suoerb.

We also played thr Hills course, and most of our group preferred the Lakes course out of the two. There was plenty of water, but it wasn't always in play. Some stunning holes visually. Greens were fast and true.

The course was in excellent condition. Fairly challenging. The greens were a lot faster than what we'd been used to on our usual UK courses, quite a lot of slopes too.

A slightly easier course, one round was quite slow due to 4 balls in front holding us up as 3 balls, probably ok if we were 4 balls so to be expected to some degree.

Was a bit nervous about booking a course called 'The Lakes' Yes there is water around the course but with planning and commonsense it is not a problem at all. A fantastic experience made all the better by the friendliness of the staff, the club house facilities and restaurant.

Hills course a little bit mixed up at present as they continue with improvements. That apart Infinitum experience was superb- Staff and facilities excellent.

It’s rather one dimensional-straight holes with water on one side and bunkers on the other. Well marshalled, and condition was very good as you would expect this course to be. Infinitum clubhouse and staff absolutely excellent.

Half of this course was closed for work so it was mixed in with the Ruins course. Interesting changes of elevation, rather short.

Some renovations going on and digging on numerous holes. Greens had been cored and fairways were average. A cart was not included in the price and we had to hire pull carts which added to the cost.
David

Very disappointed as Hills course was under renovation and only played nine holes and nine holes of the Ruins course which is their third course. Greens had all been cored. Very expensive for that condition and should have been reduced rates.

The courses were great and in good condition. We were warmly welcomed - especially at The Lakes Tee time flexibility - we could have done with 10.30/11.00 slots on day 2 and 3 - do YGT not have the buying power to reserve these times?

Considering it had been closed for fairway renovations and had only been opened for a week, the course was in great condition. Not sign of the recent work. Some of the bunkers were not at their best due to heavy rains. But, overall, the course was great albeit a little long for me :-) Great food and friendly, helpful staff.

I loved the course and layout that required strategic play. Admittedly, Infinitum knew the fairways weren't at their best so we got a free beer each as compensation.

Tougher than Lakes. Lovely course, great greens, super-fast. some memorable holes. Fairways not in great nick due to lack of rain and watering, but they were very up front about it and suggested pick and place and also gave us all a free beer as compensation! Lovely clubhouse and terrace. as with lakes, staff were excellent, couldn't have been more helpful.

A nice course “on the flat” but with some challenging holes. The bunkers in places need additional sand as some were just solid. The course was in good condition and we enjoyed our round. Again we had a potential problem with our return transfer which we had booked for 3pm...we checked at the golf reception desk and they told us it was booked for 4pm...we said it can’t be as we were being picked up from our hotel to go to the airport for our flight at 3.30pm. So yet again they had to make a number of phone calls to get us picked up 10 minutes late. All in all a good trip but I had issues in the week running up to the trip with the Yourgolftravel customer service team over incorrect vouchers/timings which they said they’d sort out then heard nothing for 4 days from them. I eventually emailedIan Purvis as I wasn’t getting any progress for him to reissue the vouchers...again incorrectly so eventually got a phone call from him saying it wasn’t him that sent me the vouchers but an agency using his email address. So it took 4 attempts to get things correct. Then the issues over at Lumine re the pick up transfers.....all in all not very satisfactory customer service/experience from yourselves.

We played this course for the 1st time and whilst we found it interesting the greens still had sand on them from maintenance and were therefore slow. The drinks buggy came around which was welcomed though only had 1baguette for 4 of us. The Clubhouse was closed which was disappointing as the main Clubhouse is nearly 1.5 miles away. Our transfer back to the hotel was arranged for 5pm which we waited for...after 10 mins we asked at Reception where we were told it was 6pm collection. We showed them our confirmation from Yourgolftravel which clearly showed 5pm....they said they would try and get someone to collect us in 5 minutes but this turned out to be @5.40...some 40 minutes late.

The least liked of the 3 but still it was never going to beat the other 2. It is for those who hit it straight, not overly long but full of water if you stray.

The facilities and staff at this facility were good, but due to high number of golfers were stretched and you had to be patient when booking in and using driving range and practice facilities. The course was very damp and with many bare patches, we believe they might have suffered a summer heat wave similar to the UK but they appeared to take the action of excessively water the course will repair the damage, but unfortunately this failed as the damaged areas just became mud patches, made the courses long and then resulted in mainly tee positions off the blue blocks which then gave a short course especially for low handicap golfer who were disappointed. Also tee and ground around greens conditions was disappointing well used and bare in some areas. The saving grace on both courses were the greens in good condition especially with high volume of traffic. The main disappointment was as a two ball we were sandwiched in all four rounds in between many four ball games and experienced from 43/4 hours to 51/2 hours We were happy to join up with other golfers but were never given the opportunity? Why was we not warned this would be the case, or even offered to go off early in front of the four balls? We would recommend that no two balls go out to these popular courses, certainly at this time of the year. Unfortunately on our third game of the eight days ( second at lakes ) a thunder storm struck the area flooding many parts of the course, we had to clear the course after only playing 6 holes but to be fair the staff were very good handing out towels as we came off the course and arranging our transport back to the hotel ASAP. Doubtful that we would go back to these courses. Frank

Very disappointed with the Hills course this year having found it to be our favourite last year so decided to play it twice this year the fairways were in very poor condition with very or no grass on the fairways
