Lovely clean hotel great facilities

The hotel is nice but quite remote. It's a distance by car to the nearest village so you feel tied to the hotel

We had a great experience at Hotel. Rooms where great and staff was very nice.The spa was also very good.

Excellent hotel with fantastic staff. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Plenty to choose from at breakfast with fresh food being prepared all the time. The Italian/Mexican restaurant is very good with a great selection of food and drinks.

Great resort for golfers

I booked a golf break for six golfers in October with Your Golf Travel, I was assured our tee times would include three rounds playing as 2 x 3 ball on each occasion. Unfortunately we were told once on the tee that we had been separated and would have to play as 2 x 4 ball pairing two of our golfers with strangers. Your Golf Travel were absolutely useless and weren’t able to resolve the situation. I wrote to Your Golf Travel and complained and they told me this can happen and it’s in the small print! Very disappointed, won’t be using them again.

Very good hotel and helpful staff

Very poor customer service. We arrived at 11am after an early morning flight and we kept waiting for our rooms until 2pm. During this time they were not interested in keeping us informed until we explained that we had a 2pm t time which we had to move so that we could get our rooms and get ready. The theme of poor customer service continued throughout our stay with limited facilities open in the Hotel (the health Spa / suit was closed throughout the duration !!) The hotel was simply not worth the cost !

Great clean and fresh hotel with lovely staff and facilities. Nothing close by so need a taxi to get elsewhere.

Hotel is quite remote. Found it difficult to get food at times. The buffet was only open one night of our stay, despite being open one night for a party of 15. Bar food unavailable during daytime and only available at the golf club house.

The room was 120m from reception, the furthest distance possible in the hotel. Room TV was poor - 3 local tv and 1 local radio channels. No Spanish national or international channels. The balcony of the room received no sun at all during the day. The pool bar was closed during our stay despite the pool area busy with residents. Pool bar area not cleaned daily. Staff at reception, Main bar area and room cleaning were excellent. Restaurant was poor - no atmosphere and expensive OK for breakfast. Bar food was good and sports tv screen operating. This hotel states that it is a 3 golf course complex. Wrong! 2 courses - Las Ramblas and Vilamartin are 30 miles away. I would not return to this hotel - it is not 5 star.

La Finca Hotel was once again lovely to stay at for our trip. Rooms are exceptional and facilities very good. Our only disappoint this trip was our meal in the restaurant which was poor with poor service as there was a large golf society dining and we felt like second class diners!

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff, accommodation and food were all excellent.

Very nice hotel, all the staff were incredibly helpful. Food in the restaurant was very nice and not overpriced, would 100% recommend for a trip away, transfers to and from the courses work very well, we will be going back in a few years.

Enjoyable stay at La Finca Golf Resort, good location about 30 minutes drive from Villamartin & Las Ramblas. 2 of our 4 ball did not play Villamartin due to the heavy rain all day but we all enjoyed Finca & Ramblas in excellent condition. Shuttle service to and from airport and courses was excellent. Good hot and cold buffet breakfast and rooms were very comfortable. The only complaint was the 15 euro charge to use the spa facilities, we expected this to be part of the hotel price to use indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc !! Overall would recommend others to stay here.

Perfect location for staying if playing the La Finca golf courses. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the wide selections of food for all meals is great, perfectly satisfactory in terms of taste and quantity. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Rooms were very comfotable.They did lack drawer storage space. Kept clean & tidy by maids. All areas of the hotel were spotlessly maintained. The DBB menu was a restricted version of the a la crate menu which did not change during our stay.Suspect most people did not stay for full week hence lack of menu changes. In compensation for this they allowed us to choose anything we wanted on the last night at no extra cost. All staff in the hotel were most attentive & caring & any issues were speedily resolved.

Excellent facilities within hotel, very friendly accommodating staff.

The accommodation was lovely with great rooms. Food was very good and staff were generally friendly. We had b&b but because the hotel is so remote we generally ate in the hotel in the evening, the choice being good but a bit pricey. A taxi to nearest then with more bars etc was 15 euros each way. Indoor pool was at an extra charge. Hotel would not service a continental breakfast as we were leaving 10 minutes before they opened, supplied tea and coffee but only in thin plastic water cups so this was very poor. Lovely looking hotel, staff very good but definitely not 5 star.

Great! Comfortable room, nice bathroom with great shower. Good food in buffet style restaurant and very helpful and friendly staff.

A newish course and it shows in that some of the greens are struggling with the amount of traffic—however the whole place is top quality from the layout, buggies and staff makes it a great experience

La Finca is a very good golf course. The greens where very good and fast. The staff was very good and nice. They also went beyond expectations to help us. We had a great time and good experience.

The best golf course we've played, superb condition in a wonderful setting, will defiantly be back to play again.

New Club house is finally open after more that 10 years, fantastic!!! Is Find a is an outstanding club, great practice facilities, the course is in excellent condition. Only issue was the Tee Boxes they need to be cut, grass too long.

Excellent course. Fair test for everyone and well laid out. Practice Facilities were very good for putting and chipping but driving range was poor. Confidence sapping fluffy grass or a loose mat on the ground not ideal.

A very difficult course for mid to high handicaps. Lightning fast greens

Of the four courses we played this was the best. some of the best greens i’ve played on. Course and clubhouse set up very good. every time we come to this area playing la finca will be a must.

Lots of water on this course - scummy, green slime and smelly. Little maintenance done on water features - needs lots of water balls. Pervading smell of sewage throughout the course. Visitors not golfers therefore usual bunker and green damage not repaired. I will not return to this venue.

We like La Finca as a course ... except the 17th which needs a better design. Having said that we enjoyed our two rounds and despite our varying handicaps all felt it was very playable.

As per everything else with the trip the course was great, some very interesting/impressive holes. The Course is slightly longer than Las Ramblas but being open it was not to much of a problem. Food and drink was very well priced, 4 euros for a pint of Amstel.Marshalls were all great which made the round very relaxing. Again its a shame nobody repairs pitch marks.

Great course, perfect weather. Quite a long course, so a buggy is required. We had the advantage that we played a couple of rounds just before La Finca hosted a competition, so the course had been groomed perfectly.

A good course. The 16th and 17th were a bit smelly and the mud was dangerous, but I think they had recently had torrential rain and they were working to sort it. It didn’t spoil our enjoyment.

Course in excellent condition..greens very fast but great condition too. Some areas between holes being upgraded. Long course with long walks between green& tees ...we used buggies which we recommend. Occasional confusion as to direction to tees ...better signage would help. Enjoyed the experience.

Do not forget to take the buggy!! Long transfer between some holes. Greens very fast and full of slopes.

Lots of hazards and long.Greens were in good condition even though they had had a lot of rain. Buggies were reasonable price but if you like to walk they only had pull trollies which are quite dated. The other disappointment was for some unknown reason they took away the ladies tees on the 3rd day and we had to use temporary tees for no reason. Would recommend but preferred Las Ramblas.

We played the La Finca course twice as it's right next to the hotel but I understand there are two other courses you can play but are a drive away. La Finca is a very nice course with wide inviting fairways, only a couple of holes where you could get punished for a wayward tee shot. Greens well maintained although a little slow. Bunkers very well kept with good soft sand. Definitely need a buggy as there are some long walks between holes and the course is quite long. All together a good golfing experience!

La Finca is my favourite, just great.

Great golf course in excellent condition. A fairly long course but quite forgiving with wide fairways. In 45 years of playing golf it's the first time I have come across a square green!! I thought we were playing crown green bowls!!

An excellent course and excellent set up. Staff, service and facilities all excellent. Courses is a great challenge and has some lovely holes, greens in great condition. A real gem.
