Designed by Martin Hawtree, one of England's leading golf architects, the English Course stretches to 6,170 yards, and is a superb holiday course, always maintained to an excellent standard.
The American Course is arguably the more dramatic of the two at La Tournette, and differs greatly in character to its neighbour. The expansive greens features sweeping undulations, and are protected by treacherous water hazards. The opening stretch is carved through impressive woodland, requiring accurate driving, while the back nine is the highlight of the complex - the American Course has its own version of Augusta's ‘Amen Corner', where you can go from hero to zero in the blink of an eye.
