The site affords great views south and east to Blackstairs, Mount Leinster and Co. Wicklow.

Mount Wolseley
When stretched to its full length, O'Connor's layout measures over 7,100 yards, and is a formidable test. However, the range of tees ensures that the course can be playable for all visitors. The superb parkland track features numerous water hazards, creating some exhilarating moments, not least on the signature 11th. This par-3 demands a shot of over 200 yards, across a gaping lake to a testing two-tiered target.
A dramatic finish is assured, as golfers must negotiate the superb 18th, whose fairway is lined with enormous oak trees. The green is perched across a lake, and under the gallery at the clubhouse.
The stunning golf course is the ideal fit to reflect the amazing Co. Carlow countryside, and challenges golfers of all abilities without spoiling a good walk.
