The par-72 Championship Course winds its way around the edges of the estate, and is regarded as one of the premier links courses in Europe. Designed by the esteemed Harry S. Colt, whose legacy includes the fantastic courses at Sunningdale, Royal Zoute is a demanding proposition, demanding accurate and thoughtful play from the tee.
The European Tour has made frequent visits to the Championship Course for the Belgian Open, with notable past champions including Lee Westwood, Robert Karlsson, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Darren Clarke, Nick Faldo and the great Roberto De Vicenzo.
