Seaside Golf Course
The main attraction at Sea Island is the 1929 Seaside Course, which is surely among the most visually stunning courses in the United States. But the enchanting experience that the Seaside Course is not only due to the surroundings; the layout was formed by the legendary Harry Colt, arguably England's most famous architectural son.
Carved through the great swathes of perfect white sand and mounds of wild rough are holes of undeniable quality and remarkable beauty. A complete revision of the Seaside Course was completed in 1999 by Tom Fazio, ensuring that the layout is as exceptional as ever.
The courses at Sea Island can boast a modern association as well with one of the greatest players of the game in Davis Love III. Davis grew up playing his golf at Sea Island, courtesy of his father who was a professional at the club. Love III's association has run deep into the foundations of the resort following his work redesigning and improving the courses found here.

Plantation Golf Course
The Plantation Course is the perfect contrast to the Seaside, carving through impressive stands of mature cedar and oak. The initial design formulated by Walter Travis was recently reworked by Rees Jones, which has greatly enhanced its impact. Winding around lakes and creeks, the Plantation and its terrific Atlantic views is sure to live long in the memory.
In recent times the course has been redesigned by Mark Love and Davis Love III of Love Golf Design to create a course that provides a telling challenge and yet provides something that recognises the courses heritage and work originally done by Walter Travis many decades before.
Retreat Course
Water comes into play on no less than 9 holes on the Retreat Course, which was designed in consultation with Sea Island native Davis Love III. The stunning pines are at times Augusta-esque, and epitomize the magnificence that golf in Georgia can provide. By no means a weak link, the Retreat Course completes what is a stunning line up at the world-renowned Sea Island resort.
