Simola Golf Estate

Simola golf course opened in 2005 and is 6,597 yards of truly stunning golf. The par 72 course has no two holes the same and is comprised of an unusual layout with five par 5s and par 3s. The first 7 holes gift player’s with an incredible view of Knysna Heads and the Lagoon whilst the remaining 11 holes overlook the river. Arguably the course's signature hole is the beautiful short par 4 second. The tee shot is played from a well elevated tee where all seven fairway and greenside bunkers can be seen as well as a vast majority of the front nine.

Simola golf estate is designed by 18 time major winning champion Jack Nicklaus. The course is one of only 200 Jack Nicklaus signature courses in the world and is considered a must play for any golfer visiting South Africa. In true Nicklaus fashion the course is no walkover when played right from the back, but can still provide an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities when played off the correct tees.
