St Austell is a James Braid designed members club, located near the southern shores of Cornwall and easily found as it sits close to A390 that runs through the South West. 

It is also the middle ground for any Golf Tour to Cornwall sitting within reach of Newquay and Perranporth Golf Club, Trevose Golf Club, St Enodoc Golf Club and even St Mellion Resort. 

The club is known for it's warm welcome and you spend the whole day with them taking in all the facilities they have on site. The comprehensive practice facilities are perfect to warm up before your round and the bar offers quality food and drink for after the round making this a must on your travels.

The club does however welcome visitors warmly, and all those who make the adventure to beautiful Cornwall will find a lovely golf course lying in wait. The layout is a par 69, reaching 6,091 yards from the back tees and although not the longest of course it can bite you if the wind blows. This balance and length means that St Austell can be enjoyed by players of all standards. It is a true James Braid classic and the course can be characterized as a blend of parkland and heathland styles, and it rolls gently over the landscapes gentle undulations. St Austell is typical of the delightful slow pace of the Cornish coast, and comes highly recommended as part of a golf tour in sunny Cornwall.
