Since its inauguration in 1945, Estoril has been the host of the national amateur championship on some 60 occasions, while the Mackenzie Ross designed layout has also welcomed the European Tour's finest for the Portuguese Open on 20 separate occasions. Great old school course. You must stop for beer znd sandwich after 12th hole.

Good challenging course. Lots of work going on as they build hotel/flats next to it. One par 4 (17) reduced to 150 yards off a temp tee box. Great service before and after the round very friendly staff

Probably the worst course we played but with the best greens again just a bit scruffy & too quirky at times with some of the holes & two holes we had to play our t shot from the middle of the fairway ,the tee boxes especially were quite poor but Layout of the course in general was good and the greens were excellent.
