Golf Las Americas is right on the doorstep of Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos, so it's an easy choice if you want a quality round without trekking across the island. It's a proper resort-course look, with bright green fairways running through pockets of woodland and Tenerife's volcanic mountains sitting in the background. If you're anything like me, you'll end up taking a couple of extra photos between shots.

In play, Las Americas asks you to think your way round rather than simply lash driver everywhere. Keep it straight, pick your moments and it's very enjoyable, but there's still enough going on to keep better players interested. With year-round sunshine (especially compared with a British winter) and a lively south-coast base on the doorstep, it's a strong all-rounder for a Tenerife golf holiday.

Very disappointed with the way your golf travel handled our booking for this golf course when we arrived our booking wasn’t confirmed with the golf course only that i was fit to show the lady that we had a booking on the app that they let us play, plus our booking for two days later wasn’t confirmed with the course . But thanks to Las America golf for there help can’t fault them at all . Will be back to play this course in the future.

Due to the sponginess of the course everything was scuffed up. The greens were impossible as golfers studs scuffed the grass and the approach shots felt almost as if you were in the rough so no bounce.

Could not read the greens as breaks was completely different to what I thought I could see. Very true and slick. Very well kept course and lots of green keepers working hard. Absolute pleasure to play
