3 Nights, 2 Rounds
Hotel Yaramar sits right on the seafront in Fuengirola, looking out over Los Boliches beach, and it's only around 25 minutes from Málaga airport. For a Costa del Sol golf break, that's a handy starting point, especially if you want to keep transfers short and maximise time on the course.
On site, you've got the essentials for an easy week: 242 air-conditioned rooms, a pool, bar, buffet restaurant and a gym. It's not trying to be a flash resort, but it does what most golf groups actually need, a comfortable base, straightforward food options and a proper spot to switch off after 18 holes.
Golf-wise, you're well placed for variety without living in a hire car. Golf Mijas is about 15 minutes away, Torrequerada is just over 20 minutes by road and Río Real is roughly 30 minutes away. With plenty more Costa del Sol courses within easy reach, you can build a strong multi-round itinerary from one central base.
Who is this for?
Golfers and groups who want a beachfront base in Fuengirola with quick access to a good spread of Costa del Sol courses.
Who is it best for?
Value-focused golf trips, couples mixing golf with beach time, and society groups that want convenience, reliable facilities and easy logistics without the feel of a large resort.

Rooms at Hotel Yaramar are set up for comfort and convenience rather than five-star bells and whistles. All 242 rooms are air-conditioned and include free WiFi, with a clean, practical layout that suits golf groups who mainly need a good night's sleep between rounds.
If you can, it's worth upgrading to a sea-view room. These come with a terrace and look over the pool towards the coastline, which is a decent perk when you're winding down with a drink after golf. Higher floors tend to make the most of the views across Fuengirola's beach and out to sea.
Food is centred around La Sirena Restaurant, serving breakfast and dinner buffet-style, which works well for groups and anyone who likes a simple routine before heading out for a tee time. The spread is varied enough to keep you going, and the format means you can eat early if you've got an 8am slot or take your time if you're teeing off later.
For daytime snacks, the poolside Snack Bar is ideal for light bites, ice creams and cold drinks without having to head far. It's the sort of spot you'll use more than you think, especially if you're back from golf by lunchtime and fancy something quick before hitting the pool.
You've also got the Riviera Beach Club right on the seafront for a change of pace. It's a good shout for tapas and seafood, and the beachfront setting gives non-golfers something to enjoy while you're out playing. The menu leans into fresh fish and Spanish classics, and it's worth booking a table if you fancy an evening meal with a view.
Facilities are exactly what you'd hope for in this kind of base. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi sit on the first floor facing the sea, and the gym is there if you fancy a quick session or a stretch before golf. Step outside and you're straight onto Los Boliches beach, which is a nice bonus for anyone combining golf with a few laid-back afternoons by the water or travelling with partners who aren't playing.

Very clean hotel, providing perfectly adequate meals for a half board price. Location ideal being away from the main town and handy for access to the train station.

The hotel is pitched at the more senior of age which adds to its great ambience, it is a fantastic hotel with some of the best staff I have met. However on a separate note some of the organisation by Your Golf Travel was unacceptable and chaotic. Club hire, we were told to collect clubs from Clubs for Hire at their shop in Malaga Airport, problem being we found on arrival this had been shut for months!! Called Your Golf Travel who said they would call back but didn’t! Finally Clubs for Hire sent a text with photos of clubs to say they had left them at the hotel, problem is they had left them at the wrong hotel!!! Eventually they turned up. Also the welcome packs at both golf courses that Your Golf Travel promised didn’t materialise, both golf clubs said they knew nothing about this, so was quite embarrassing. With the above would probably try a different company next time.

Hotel nicely located on the sea front surrounded by several bars and restaurants. rooms perfectly adequate. Buffet breakfast fine. The hotel was purely our base so we didnt take advantage of its facilities which seemed perfectly acceptable. Importantly for us staff were au-fait with catering for golfers from storing hired clubs to calling taxis which turnrd up promptly
