The Old Course, a 1991 masterpiece by Bradford Benz, underwent a meticulous redesign by Marc Westenborg to sharpen its teeth while preserving its natural soul. It is a layout that demands respect; the fairways meander through deep valleys where the cork trees stand like silent sentinels.

A hard but absolutely stunning course. Almost all shots were across ravines and every hole had something interesting about it. Staff were fantastic and we were treated very well indeed.

As a group we can not put in to words how good this place is! From the dive down to the course to the beers on the balcony after we are looked after and cared for by the staff. The course is by far the best course I have ever played with 18 utterly stunning holes that we could only describe as works or art. This is not a course for beginner golfers with lots of long carry’s over caverns and water but you could play your worst game there and still feel like it’s been the best day of your trip.

Without doubt the best course we have played in Spain which a Unanimous view shared among the group. Magnificent course and every holes designed amazingly. Will be booking again for the next trip as was a great experience and well worth the additional cost.. Brilliant day 👍

A magnificent course, but not for the faint hearted. Lots of difficult tee shots, with visually challenging landing areas. Think about team format if high handicaps in your group.

The level of service and preparation of this course is second to none. It is not for the faint hearted. It's a very tight course that if you leave the fairway there is a great chance you will lose a ball

Wow, such a different experience. Leave your driver in the bag and be prepared for Augusta speed greens. We are reasonable golfers and twice we putted off the green from being on the green!! Very tight, “keep your driver in your bag”. Lots of drives over ravines, lots of lost balls. Not for high handicappers. Buggy essential as long distances from green to tee. This and having to work out the best shot every time made it very slow.. over 5 hours for four ball… and we are typically fast players. Having said all of that the setting is gorgeous, and we really enjoyed it.

Top class - meet and greet on arrival, free snacks and coffee pre round, free range balls en route to first tee. Free gift bag with 3 pack of quality balls. Buggy drives out to offer snacks on 9th. Amazing golf course in amazing setting with perfect greens

Hard to describe the course. Slight mistake, big consequences. Play this course in "enjoy" mode and you will have a wonderfull day. Condition overall rated as 4 as the bunkers were all heavily damaged after the heavy rains from several consecutive days.

Great experience it the range is a little small so not easy to get a bat before tee off. The course is incredibly difficult to prepare yourself Food in restaurant was not as good as we had hoped.

Never played a course set into mountains and ravines like this one. Probably the highlight of our trip. Some fairways are narrow and one needs to be accurate around this course. Some of the carries required can be daunting however the reward is great. I would definitely return to play this course again. We received a lovely gift bag which was a nice touch. The restaurant stocks Rib eyes, Kobe and Wagyu beef which looked divine. One criticism is that the clubhouse is a little small as is the shop / merchandise offering. Perhaps the main clubhouse is much larger.

When we arrived at the course we were advised that course was closed and if they had my contact details from YGT they would have warned us about the closure . Course review at 12.30 and we managed to play, transfer company were 40 mins late for transfer back to the hotel.

Course was fantastic! Only down side was how much everything cost at the course! The bar/restaurant staff tried stroking us €140 for beers and food they say we had before our round. We did not eat or drink before golf due to being late again for our tee time for a second day by the transport company not picking us up at the desired time!

Golf was amazing. Course was beautiful. Mr. Davies said this was his favorite course and I see why. It was beautiful. Only issue I had was the tee time I was booked for was at 9:30am. But everything the course had was booked for 8:30am. Good news is the course was not full so I could go off a little later but would have been an issue if it was full that day. But such a great day.

What a great course, played as a couple and we loved it. Goody bag included. Nice merch bag, balls pitch repairer and sun lotion. Water and ice were pre loaded on the buggy. Although ‘ New’ refers to 2005 everything was absolutely immaculate. Service at the bag drop and pro shop couldn’t have been better. The restaurant was amazing with fabulous views. To say there were changes of elevation doesn’t describe the course. A real fun course. Probably only use driver on 3 holes. We are both 25 handicappers and had an absolute hoot. We will definitely be back. It may seem expensive for a course you never heard of, ( it’s been strictly private until now) but laughs per £ it’s great value. Could be marmite? If you like smashing driver 270, don’t come her!

This for me is a must play course if you are in this area of Spain, would like to thank Bradley Allmark, for recommending it when we were booking. As this was now one of the best courses ive ever played, not sure if it was the time of year or just a down week but we were one of 3 tee times the entire day, so made the experience even more enjoyable we had the course to ourselves, staff could not do enough for you and amazing facilities. Again a must play in my opinion
