Set across 365 acres of prime Cotswolds countryside, The Manor House Golf Club is as scenic as it is satisfying to play. Expect classic English landscape golf, with lush fairways, calm river views and enough space around you to slow down and enjoy the walk between shots.
The course rewards good decision-making. Rather than standing up and smashing driver, you will get more from your round by picking your angles, playing to the right side of the fairway and thinking your way into each green. There is plenty to keep stronger players engaged from the first tee to the last putt, yet the setting keeps things relaxed throughout, so it never feels like a grind.
It works well for mixed-ability groups too. Confident golfers can plot their way round and chase a score, while higher handicappers can lean into the views and enjoy a well-paced day on a quality layout. The surrounding Cotswolds villages, country pubs and winding lanes are close by, which makes it easy to turn a round into a weekend away.

Crafted by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, this Championship course, which was unveiled in 1992, boasts stunning fairways bordered by mature oak and beech trees, as well as pristine greens and the picturesque River Bybrook winding its way through the middle, adding a touch of drama and beauty to the landscape.
Get ready for an unforgettable golfing adventure as you step onto the stunning first tee, where a breathtaking waterfall sets the scene. As you navigate the course, you'll encounter thrilling drives that plunge into the valley, nearly 80 challenging bunkers, a few tricky water hazards, and one of the most picturesque finishing holes in the game.
Thanks to its limestone foundation, the course boasts exceptional natural drainage, ensuring we remain open every day of the year—unless, of course, a blanket of snow covers the greens.
The Manor House also boasts one of the best halfway huts among golf clubs, a visit to the Airstream trailer located by the starters hut is a must during your round, offering a variety of hot and cold food and beverages.

The manor is a very scenic course with some very interesting holes. Unfortunately for us the greens had just been punched and sanded so putting was a complete lottery. They were slow and didn’t stay on line. However the tees were in good condition. All the staff were really nice and welcoming. There’s a driving range where you get as many complimentary balls as you wish. Although it can only facilitate a handful of people at one time. In my opinion the putting green is too sloped one way to get a real feel for the greens.
