Marbella Club Golf Resort ( Benahavis )

One of the most picturesque course we have ever played in Although we requested buggies for all rounds to YGT, we were charged 40 euros for buggies here

Excellent days golf; course a little older than La Reserva & San Roque, which was apparent when you looked at the paths and facilities. Great wee track.

The club house was lovely and the course interesting although was pretty bare in places. The lack of good practice facilities and no distance information on the carts was a bit of a let down.

One of my absolute favourite layouts. Well worth a visit, but the range is terrible, and the new putting green is fake grass, so doesn’t represent the course at all. Last round of the holiday, finished at about 6.30, and was told the showers had all been locked up so we couldn’t get washed before the flight, meaning we had to use a hose round the back!

The golf shop closed at 6pm and the restaurant soon after. We didn’t finish our round til nearly 7

We were rewarded about the greens at Marbella club which were shocking due faulty irrigation. If the greens were better would be a fantastic and would definitely play here again greens being in good condition.

first time played. a wonderful course,with some great holes. our fifth round in 5 days , so most of us a bit jaded and found it difficult , hence poor scores. would certainly recommend

Lovely course, a little light on facilities

Lots of blind golf where you didn't know what was over the hill or round the corner. Need to play it 2/3 times to know where to land your ball. Extremely slow four balls ahead of us and we got so fed up that we quit after 16 holes.

Beautiful scenery, very quiet. Only difficulty was taxis ability to find right entrancr.

Greens not in as good nick as before. Lots of unrepaired pitch marks. Otherwise great.

Played last year and it was special. This year standards have dropped. Scrappy in places

Bizarre smallish clubhouse, I think because it is fair way out people don't play here as much. Nice course, a good test, greens were good.

Our favourite course for the entire days ambience, golf play never rushed, views stunning, challenging but not crazy & lunch is outstanding :-) !

A beautiful course in tip top Condition and is one we will return to every year. Very slick greens and excellent fairways.

Wow! What a treat. Layout and views amazing. They have generous gaps between tee-times but no effective marshalling so if you get caught behind inconsiderate groups be prepared for a long round! But other than that the ambience and course are fantastic. Ignore any negative comments about this course... it's quirky perhaps but one not to be missed. But its long and very hilly and buggies an absolute must.. unless you are an Olympic Athlete do not even consider walking it!
