Meloneras Golf by Lopesan is a relatively new addition to the golfing landscape of southern Gran Canaria, having been opened in 2006. The course offers an exceptional golfing experience for enthusiasts seeking a memorable holiday. Nestled along the stunning Meloneras Bay, this par-71 parkland course was designed by renowned architect Ron Kirby.

Meloneras Golf

The par-71 championship course was designed by American architect Ron Kirby, and covers a large expanse of stunning land, located a few minutes from the hotel area. Set against the backdrop of the mountains rising behind, golfers will enjoy unrivalled views over the stunning coastline.

Course was good in very good condition. We played off the backs and it was a good test. No clubhouse, although free water for the round.

Excellent back nine. Front none was good but less memorable.

I’m not a big hitter and some of the carries across ravines were too much for me. Also very very windy increasing the challenge

The only reason I said hard is because it was blowing a Gale and the back nine being more coastal played 7 of the holes into a 40 mile wind which made a par 5 more like a par 7 especially if you are not a big hitter
