Accommodation ok. Room fine. Staff average.

Everything was great

Suits us as a couple who play golf and want to do our own thing of an evening. If any complaint it would be the WiFi quality but that shouldn't put you off

Accommodation is dated and not overly comfortable. We were a party of 3 and had to ask for more furniture to sit on - only plastic chairs available. A single 2 seater sofa provided so not great (actually really quite poor). Staff ok but not particularly helpful.

Location was a bit of a drive from other places but the value and room was really good.

Rooms were very spacious, bar and restaurant wasn’t open when we first arrived, opened later in the week and was nice and comfortable, shuttle service to and from the courses was prompt and efficient.

Room was good There were some very noisy neighbours who were dealt to but could have happened sooner

Hi we didn't actually stay at the Gramacho Residency but at Vale da Pinta looking over the golf course back and front, which we preferred

Outstanding resort, with excellent service and courses in great condition especially for the time of year. Very quiet and relaxing, making the whole experience extremely enjoyable and hassle free.

We've just returned back from our trip thank you for sorting it out for us but there was one issue. Our paperwork states that all transfers to golf and airport was covered but noone picked us up to take us to Villa Sol or Silves courses as they were off the resort. Villa Sol was one I was really looking forward to as I was told that one is beautiful. They told us to walk with our bags to Vale de Pinta which was quite a long hike especially carrying golf bags. So I'm not happy with how it turned out. It was quite a shambles to be honest. I'm expecting some kind of discount as 2 of our favourite rounds were cancelled at over £100 each.Thats £133 + £111 × 2 people that's quite a loss.

Fridge not working, towels never changed & shower drain blocked which flooded room each time we used it. This caused a smell of damp the whole stay. 15mins from nearest town in a taxi to buy any supplies or eat out most of which were getting ready to close for the end of the season.

If you just want a quick golf get away it’s a great place to stay, golf courses are good rooms adequate, value reasonable, location great. Some lovely coastal towns and inlets nearby as well, with some great restaurants!

The accommodation itself was good. Big space with 2 large bedrooms downstairs and a good sized living area upstairs. This area had 1 sofa bed and a couple of chairs so could have done with some more comfortable seating. We packed light so used the washing machine once - this wasn't good as the spin cycle boiled our clothes so badly that I couldn't get them out of the machine to start as they were so hot. Luckily we got away without anything being damaged. The residences are a little off the beaten track but we had a car so were able to get around. I've marked the staff down because of 1 individual that I dealt with that refused to give me golf vouchers saying that they don't do that. Seems that they don't need them for the on site courses (VDP & G) but sure enough, I had a real batle when we arrived at Vila Sol who were effectively demanding a voucher before we could play. Fortunately I had downloaded the YGT ap which showed our booking and he reluctantly accepted that. No bar or restaurant in the accommodation but ample at the 2 onsite courses. All in all, apart from the twonk on reception, a good stay and would happily return.

Accommodation was clean and comfortable for the four of us that stayed there. Was a little apprehensive about having to get shuttle bus to and from Gramacho for breakfast/evening meal but it ran from 7am till 8:45 pm ish and we waited no longer than 10 min, it was constantly going from apartment to golf courses. We chose to walk on occasions from apartment to Gramacho and it only took 8 mins. We originally only booked 3 rounds of golf but as we were on an unlimited golf package we added to that when we there and ended up doing 92 holes in the 5 days. Staff at the apartment and courses, especially Gramacho, were amazing.

Hotel was amazing Food was great golf course and weather was just perfect

The residence at Pestanan Gramacho is perfect for a golf holiday, loved the shuttle bus service to the golf courses and clubhouse. my only grumble was we had to remind them to clean our room as you get 2 for a 7 day stay.

Rooms are great, but no bar, cafe or other facilities

Location was very isolated and too far to walk to the clubhouse. There was a vending machine in reception if you wanted a soft drink or a bar of chocolate. I would describe the studio accommodation as spacious but comfort wise only adequate for 2 or 3 nights. The fittings and furniture felt cheap and worn and the housekeeping team really need to up their game, it generally felt a bit grubby, but to be fair the bed and linen was clean and comfortable. biggest gripe was no cleaning materials, not even a cloth to wipe the work tops or a washing up sponge & liquid in the kitchen. Altogether disappointing accommodation but having the golf included and the practice facilities on site made the package reasonable value for money.

Very good accommodation, loads of appliances in the kitchen, great bathrooms and living area.

It was a villa (the same one as last year). One or two things were missing eg the toaster (only 1 bar worked); there were no dishwasher tablets and only 1 towel each and the TV didn’t work at first. These faults were rectified apart from the toaster.

Great service. Will be booking again soon.

Very good! We had a villa for 4 people with a small private pool. Unfortunately the pool was dirty and could not be used; however there was a larger pool nearby.

We arrived from the airport at midday, tired after an early start to find that our rooms were not ready. There seems little excuse for this as the Residency was 90% empty. After golf and an early evening meal at the club house we arrived back in the dark (very tired by now) to be told our rooms were in another building two or three minutes walk away... quite difficult to find in the dark without anyone to lead us or carry our bags. On arrival, we wherever disappointed to find that a room feeling a bit like an underground bunker with a smell and feeling of damp (there was a small window with a high cill and a view of the car park. We went back to reception and asked for a better room which we were then given; this time with more space, large windows and a generous balcony. The two other couples in our party did not think to request better rooms and were left with sub-standard accommodation. In one case the bathroom had to be used for storage as there was literally no space in the room to put anything, not even sufficient space for small bedside tables. We do not understand why sub-standard rooms were allocated to us as the mostly empty building had many good rooms with balconies. The following morning, we were disappointed to find that there was no breakfast available at the Residences and we had to call a shuttle bus (10 minute wait) to take us back to the golf club. I have given no stars for 'facilities' and 'quality of bars and restaurants' as there was nothing available at the Residences.

For a week long stay fabulous although more choice on menu would have been appreciated

The gramacho apartments we feel were no more than average. The lighting was extremely poor( no light in shower area, 1 tiny light in kitchen, lounge area..poor) with just a toaster on…electricity constantly tripping out!! Could not put kettle or toaster on at same time) needs bedside tables & side lamps!!!! Without a car can’t possibly get to golf course. The only thing that made it better was the staff were extremely helpful. YGT need to advise golfers it’s not near the courses. Electric gate kept breaking down also…not sure We would return

Nice three storie apartment with decent sized communal pool. Shuttle service available to Gramacho and Pinta clubhouse. No bar on site.

Prefer the comforts and facilities of a quality hotel. The residencies were not what we expected, so we need to look closer at our accommodation in future bookings

Nice people, very new place, in the middle of no where and again, not much character there. Lacks something. The apartments are very modern and great though! Nice views of the sunset. Great staff

Have got a low review of restaurants, simply as there isn’t one there. We got given a takeaway menu when at Vale Da Pinta for an awesome Indian. Maybe leave a few of these in each room.

Excellent lay out over 3 floors with each floor having its own balcony/patio. 2 bathrooms. Well presented and cleaned daily

The room was really good. 4 star quality. Very new and very tastefully done. High quality fitting etc. The rooms were away from the main clubhouse/bar/restaurant which was a shame. Really liked it though. Excellent value for money.

Clean and comfortable,could have done with a kettle in the kitchen.Very spacious

No bars or restaurant at accommodation site. Very clean and has all you need to get your rest after a day of golf in the sun.

the gramacho golf course was brilliant we all loved it

The accomodation was self catering but breakfast was included at the local golf course. It was ideal and very quiet. You need transport to get to locations

As you can see from the star rating this facility excels at everything. Suffice it to say that we are already planning our return visit. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and all the interconnecting transport to the courses were there waiting for us each day.

No bar or restaurant meant you had to drive down to the Gramacho course to get your breakfast every day, although there was a kettle in the room no tea or milk was available in spite of asking at reception, I like to wake up to a cup of tea at least!

We were a group of 4, sharing a 2 bedroom apartment. The quality and the space were excellent. Good sized bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and large communal area with balcony. Hard to find anything which could be improved. Perfect for us.

our stay at pestana ģramacho residance was great. the rooms where well layed out and spacious, especially as we had our clubs to store too. looking forward to our next visit back. The staff where friendly and the staff who do the transfers where every punctual.

Beautiful appointed and clean with lots of space. A little isolated.

The accommodation is excellent and has everything you need

the only downside is the lack of facilities at this hotel as the bars and food are onl;y available at the golf centre some distance away
