Tivoli Alvor Algarve Resort

Lovely hotel although probably would have preferred accommodation all together rather than bring in separate pods/buildings around the resort. We were quite a distance from reception. A comfortable lounge/bar area to relax in after dinner would also have been preferred. A real plus to get our AI bands on arrival at midday and not at the 3pm check in. Food was excellent. I do agree with other reviewers that the food wasn’t always that hot. The Wellness centre was great and did appreciate that it was open to all guests on AI and only spa treatments were an extra cost.

This resort is ok if you have kids under 12 yrs old because they stay for free. This is definitely not a hotel for adults without children. I wish I would’ve been told this before I booked the trip. It was not I pleasant. The food was not good. The drinks were marginal. Screaming kids everywhere. I would definitely not stay here again. I left and stayed at the epic sana resort which was fantastic. It was not all inclusive, but I would stay there again. One suggestion. When I book a trip with YGT, I would like to have concierge service with one dedicated person to get their opinion and thoughts. In this case I would have never booked a trip at the Tivoli Alvor hotel. It makes a difference.

The rooms were good … ours was a good location and bed very comfy… The hotel is definitely a summer outdoor living hotel and is perfect for families.. I would not recommend this hotel for any parties of golfers whatsoever… we will not go again
