Vilamoura Garden Hotel is comprised of 5 different types of room which come in a variety of sizes from 28 square meters to the 55 square meters in order to accommodate to everyone’s needs. The standard room options either come with a garden view or a pool view and feature a number of modern amenities such as a large TV, air con and a terrace where guests can enjoy the stunning scenery from the comfort of their own room. There is also the Family Room which is great for both families and groups of golfers as there are 2 separate sleeping areas within the large room. Similar to the standard room, the Family Room also comes equipped with the same accessories.
Vilamoura Garden Hotel also has a delicious Tapas Lounge Bar which serves a selection of beverages paired with Algarvean-inspired tapas in a casual and vibrant ambiance. The disappointing aspect of the hotel was that there was no spa facilities. We had specifically requested a hotel that has spa facilities and were told this one did, however they were at a hotel across the road and cost EUR25 per person for 3 hours. The rooms were spacious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a bit out of the centre of Vilamoura however ubers are very cheap and quick.

Would not be my first choice to stay at as quite a distance from the marina. Whilst the rooms were good the bar was small and had limited offerings. Breakfast offerings were also fairly basic in comparison to otger hotels I have stayed at in Vilamoura. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was acceptable but the bathroom was in desperate need of refurbishment, there was only a shower over the bath and the bath was very, slippery and I consider dangerous as I fell very badly getting out of the bath after showering! I asked for a bath mat but was told they didn't have them! The pool was a disappointment and the sun beds were very uncomfortable.

This review is for The Hilton hotel as When we arrived Reception said the hotel was full, a bit worrying luckily we called the transfer driver back. As it happened they moved us from 4* to the Hilton 5* a sister hotel. I don’t think Your Golf Travel were told.

The hotel is situated a walkable 300 yards from the Pinhal course and a 10 min drive away from the Millennium and Laguna courses which was perfect for us. There is a complimentary course transfer so no hassle at all! The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was exceptionally good, although the lunchtime choice was limited but that’s is probably hyper critical. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suit and these were clean, well equipped and very comfortable. One small criticism is that the air conditioning worked a little too well and I’m not the most technically minded chap! Saying that, I slept better in the cooler room.
