Golf d'Apremont sits out in the Oise countryside north of Paris, which is handy if you're based at Dolce Chantilly and fancy mixing things up. It's a proper parkland track through mature woodland, so if you like shaping shots and keeping it in play, you'll feel right at home.
The main theme here is accuracy over power. Fairways are lined with trees that will punish a loose one and the greens tend to reward the golfer who comes in from the correct angle rather than simply firing at flags. Course management matters, especially if you're trying to score rather than simply survive.
The setting is classic northern France: gentle movement in the land, established trees and a calm, rural feel that's a nice contrast to the resort atmosphere back at Chantilly. You may find water and well-placed bunkering adding a bit of decision-making off the tee, but it's more about picking the right shot than taking your medicine all day.
If you're putting together a multi-course break, this is a smart second or third round option, close by, well presented and enjoyable for mixed-ability groups. Include Golf d'Apremont on your next Golf Break to Chantilly for a different test without the faff of long transfers.

Also enjoyed our round here. Varied holes and interesting. Weather was hot but there were shady areas. Good pace of play and staff were great.

This course is approximately two miles from the Mercure Hotel where we stayed. Very welcoming staff. Good Club House facilities. A more varied course that du Lys, several dog legs, again lots of bunkers. Needed to think your way round. Long par fours, mostly tree lined fairways, Three holes where lakes come into play. Super greens ! We had Baguette's/Beer after play which were good value for money.

Slow greens. Course is what we would call, Middle of the Road.
