Originally founded in 1923, the club made the decision to rebuild the course in 1977, and enlisted the help of Dave Thomas and Peter Alliss. The mature woodland of the Valmasque sets the scene for the superb layout, which is a genuine championship track that can be stretched to 6,906 yards.
