Perfect perfect perfect, a special mention for Jennifer in the pro shop, over and above perfect service and advise.

Overall we as a party of eight was very pleased but, always a but, so we did find the breakfast variety good, however the hot food was never hot but Luke warm, saving grace was the chef cooking fresh omelettes for you. And a warning to other golfers to keep your golf travel bag zipped up if leaving it out on the veranda, as I did not and on leaving to pack my golf bag away into the travel bag, a sizeable rat popped out and had a nightmare trying to get it out of the room, eventually did via the front door, not the best experience but can you blame the hotel for that !.

Brilliant hotel with 1st class staff in every department. Overall I would say an excellent 4 star hotel with 5 star dining and staff. 4 star only because of some of the minor details in the bathrooms and mattresses quite hard.

Fantastic hotel ,pool area really relaxing, pool bar great service ,our room was the standard twin ,view onto the golf course was scenic,great size and air con ,couldn't fault it,the golf facilities brilliant restaurants were great ,shuttle bus to the driving range was easy to arrange. Breakfast had plenty of options,staff all brilliant, Taxi into town 10 mins and 10euro,nice and easy booked at reception.golf shop had everything needed but a bit pricey, especially the la cala branded merchandise eg shirts! Overall the hotel is 1st class.

La Cala hotel ticks all of the boxes. Hotel is in a great location and the staff really welcoming and professional. We only ate in the hotel one night but the food was really good. Possibly the hotel bar could be improved, almost added as an after though but a very minor criticism.

The hotel and Resort was top quality, staff were brilliant always on hand to help when needed. Spa and fitness facilities were really high standard. The rooms were very clean and modern with great views from our balcony.

The hotel is very nice. The twin rooms are small for 2 guys sharing.

The hotel is a great value option - with good facilities and food / drink - but most of all very friendly staff. Would highly recommend as a base if playing the La Cala courses or some of them.

Overall our stay was once was very enjoyable. The only couple of things that differed from our last stay was the poor quality of the breakfast due to work being carried out to the new restaurant.And some of our rooms were not as good as the last time we stayed in 2024.

Excellent venue, the staff couldn’t have been better. The food was delicious & we made best use of the practice areas.

Everything about La Cala resort is brilliant the location the hotel the golf courses and especially the staff

All great again, the perfect destination for challenging golf in the sun. Out transfer was late which caused a few concerns although all fine in the end. We’ve been here twice now and would definitely recommend it.

The hotel is away from the town centre which didn't suit everyone in our group but was a 10 to 15 euro taxi away. The staff are some of the best we have met friendly kind and very efficient from breakfast service through reception and all at the golf centre. The three courses were as challenging as expected and amongst 16 of mixed ability golfers over three rounds we lost 168 balls with notable differences between courses! the courses are all well maintained and we had no trouble with directions buggies etc only our own deficiencies! There was no bottled water in our rooms which was our only gripe as buying it from the machine was tiresome each day even a just 3e. the staff do fill up any water bottles you may have so take a drinking bottle !

Great breakfast in the hotel and food at the clubhouse. Staff were very pleasant, efficient and helpful. Bed was not to my comfort, however I never sleep well in a hotel.

This hotel in great all staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and hot. Will definitely return again for a gif trip.

Lovely hotel with superb views. Hotel rooms very nice. Dinner was a la carte with plenty of choice, although service was a bit slow on two out of the five nights. Drinks were inexpensive and the house wine at 22 Euros was a good deal.

Our group had a fantastic time at the resort. Everything was first class. The only small issue was the coverage of the WiFi could be improved. Some of the rooms had very poor signal.

Excellent standard of rooms .breakfast facilities top notch .Excellent staff all round they couldn't do enough to make your stay very comfortable. The golf club house and staff were very good helping with clubs and buggies .clubhouse food and waiters were excellent.

La Cala was excellent. The staff were kind and helpful, the room was nice, modern, had all the required amenities, was cleaned thoroughly every day. The continental breakfast was excellent, as was the clubhouse restaurant. The restaurant in the hotel was quite good. The rural location was beautiful but slightly isolated. We were able to Uber into La Cala De Mijas without too much hassle, which is also a beautiful spot.

Superb resort with excellent amenities, stunning views and great food

Disappointed that in the hot weather the outside swimming pool was not open. Not enough variation of bars and no shops on site. No shuttle service to outside shops and restaurants. A shuttle service that is provided we understand during the summer.

Hotel was very comfortable and friendly. Restaurants were all good. No other facilities nearby - 15 min taxi ride to closest restaurants and shops at the coast.

The hotel was a bit tied and although some rooms had been updated they still were in need of a freshening up. Booked a superior double bed room but got a twins with beds pushed together. Refreshements in room very mean one bottle of complimentary water for our whole stay 4 nights. No drinks in mini bar had to subscrbe to a drinks package and get drinks you dont want in order to get the drink you do. Food was good in the restaurant although menu was limited and if staying longer than 4 days would get a boring. Confusion on check out as they proceeded to charge for the evening meal when already paid for in our booking. The saving grace is the staff, friendly and professional.

First time travelling abroad for golf - 2 couples - we were absolutely bowled over by the resort, the courses and facilities. Quick check in - lovely room. The club house has loads of outdoor and indoor seating with very attentive staff and lovely hood snd drinks not over priced . As we were staying one week we had 3 spa sessions thrown in which was amazing . We used them after golf watching people come up the Asia 18th from the outdoor jacuzzi ! A taxi into La Cala was about £13 and there is a lovely restaurant El Jinete about a mile away . Breakfast was great with loads of choice . 3 different restaurants/ bars to eat from in the evening. Decked out for Xmas , roaring fire all absolutely fantastic. We all loved the whole experience and can’t fault a thing . There’s a free shuttle bus to a driving range, theres a club shop , club hire, a putting green and free buggies . To be on a resort and be able to play 3 different courses straight outside your door has spoiled us I think - we will definitely be back .

Hotel was ideal for a group of golfers or family holiday. Location to the clubhouse and golf courses is excellent. Hotel was clean with a very good spa, pool and restaurant for breakfast was also very good. Staff all very friendly.

Absolutely fantastic golf resort. Up in the Andalusian mountains with out of this world views in every direction. The resort itself has everything you could possibly want with great bars and restaurants but is also only a short drive to the lovely local town of La Cala de Mijas which has even more. We will definitely be back. One final note is YGT arranged the trip and it ran absolutely faultlessly. We will definitely be using YGT again. Thank you.

Been to La Cala many times before and love the place but the rooms now need updating. Our room was looking very tired. I understand they get hammered with large groups.

We had a wonderful holiday and the hotel is in a fabulous location. My only negative would be that the rooms appear to be different in size and it is pot luck as to which one you get. Last year we had a suite with a full kitchen and large balcony. This year it was much smaller with a small mini bar for a fridge that struggled to hold a large bottle of water. On the whole though, we would travel back.

We were first of all shown a room overlooking swimming pool, was disappointing but luckily they changed it to mountain view which was amazing.

Great resort, with excellent facilities and great staff

Group of 4 golfers spent 7 nights at La Cala Golf Resort Hotel end April 2023. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Room spacious and extremely comfortable with a balcony overlooking the golf courses. Only eat one evening meal at the resort and that was in golf clubhouse which was average.

No change in tapas menus for last 3 years

We had a great room overlooking the spa, and the 18th hole on the Asia course, which got the sun in the afternoon. The hotel has two wings, one which gets the sunshine in the morning, and the opposite side gets sun in the afternoon.

Excellent golfing hotel with 3 courses to choose from. Despite it being January, the courses were in good overall condition. The staff at the hotel were brilliant. Courteous, helpful and friendly. The food was extremely good and of a high quality.

Foods are not as good as the the restaurnats we dined. Rather disappinting.

Very good

The hotel is perfect for our requirements. We play 3 rounds and stay 4 nights. To be able to have breakfast, walk to the Club House to collect our buggy and drive to the course we are playing that day is so simple and is so much better than having to hang around for mini-buses to take us to the golf course. We have stayed at La Cala 6 times and with YGT we have never been disappointed and we are a group of 16 that has been touring Spain and Portugal over the last 40 years...we will be going back next year.

the staff were very helpful indeed-especially Monica at the Reception. overall very good and we would return again-though the rooms were a bit small and the furniture was past its sell-by date. the bar staff/pro shop were helpful too.

All of my 5 star ratings are the reason my group and i have returned many times and will continue to do so.

The hotel is in a fantastic location and the rooms and breakfast were excellent. The pool is lovely and clean. We only ate in the hotel on one evening and were slightly disappointed with the slow service. Also, the reception bar gets very hot in an evening because there is no air conditioning.

We upgraded our room , had perfect views, the spa was lovely to go back to after the round. With the courses surrounding the hotel and a bag drop room at the clubhouse it’s just perfect with no transfers / carrying bags needed.

Large Comfortable room but on ground floor without much of a view, the views from the third floor rooms are much better . Staff were excellent everywhere couldn't have been more helpful .

The staff are amazing and look after my son who is a Coeliac. We are made to feel really appreciated during our stay.

Excellent place to stay for groups of golfers, nice bars and restaurants, with only a €12 taxi ride into La cala town, which has plenty of places to eat and drink

First visit to La Cala and we were definitely impressed. The whole set up for golfers is superb. You can see why this resort is one of the most popular in Spain.

Enjoyed La Cala, been before it’s remote but everything on site good quality so no need to travel out to often, the coast is 15 mins away so all workable all fine, Max Yearwood and help organised everything spot on cheers Max

Lovely hotel, with three stunning and challenging courses. My team mates preferred early starts as the heat was unusually high, but it was just fine for me, with a refreshing dip in the pool afterwards.

Cracking as usual, attentive staff and clean and tidy . Wish they had more than one refreshment cart for 54 holes !!!!!!

The hotel was really good we had food after the golf and the food was really good the only thing that was annoying was the hotel bar was shut at 1 am

As it’s a resort you don’t expect to be near anything else but that does make it feel a bit restricted especially in the evenings, that said the hotel was clean and the staff were beyond helpful, the rooms were cleaned every day and the and the beds were changed and they tidied up our clothes which was really helpful as I was sharing with a teenager.

The hotel is great with fantastic staff who are really helpful. The breakfast is lovely, plenty to chose from and the Spa is great after a long day on the course. The rooms are simple but comfortable with stunning views over the course.

All the staff were helpful and attentive. The location is good, and a bonus to have two restaurants, and three golf courses on the one site.

Accommodation was first class nothing was too much trouble. Staff & service was excellent.

Nice room but a little small especially when you have golf clubs. As it was winter the outdoor pool was closed so it was a pity you only had access to indoor pool as part of the spa which you only had 1 visit for each 2 night stay. The staff were very helpful and made the hotel a very nice place to visit

Fabulous place. Great condition with superb views of the mountains around it. The staff are exceptionally pleasant and professional and do there job well. Cannot fault it. The only issue was that the pool wasn’t open during the winter months so we used the spa facilities instead and as a hotel resident we were entitled to access the spa for an hour and a half per day without charge.

Rooms were adequate, with very comfy beds. Large balcony overlooking the Golf Course, and a large bathroom. staff were amazing and adhered to COVID Regs. Food in the restaurant is exceptional.

The hotel is really nice, it has a Spanish vintage style and is welcoming, relaxed and friendly. The staff were all helpful and engaging. We mainly ate at the Clubhouse and nearby restaurant but the Tapas restaurant at the Clubhouse is very good, again with very helpful hard working staff. The main bar in the hotel was a great meeting place and the bar man was super fast and friendly.

This was our first golf tour and each member of our group enjoyed every second. The hotel and staff were fantastic, great value for money, good food and excellent facilities. I would recommend this resort to anyone who is interested in golf and even those who aren't. The spa was great, very peaceful surroundings just what you want for a relaxing break.

Hi All good, however we did miss having the other restaurant open to give us more choice of food.

All good at the hotel in general however at times service was slow in the clubhouse bar. Rooms were very clean and breakfast excellent.

We travelled as 3 couples for a 4 night / 2 round stay. Understanding that we all are still living under lifestyle restrictions, this hotel / golf resort is magnificent. I do not have a single negative thing to say. In one word " stunning "

Very comfortable room (wouldn't have liked to share it - but great for 1) Spa great. Hotel location obviously a little isolated so need to cab it everywhere to eat at night but worth the hassle to get variety and location superb for golf!

We are regulars to the hotel and know it well, along with what the area has to offer. The overall facilities are first class with easy access to La Cala de Mijas town (by taxi) and the beach front restaurants and bars.

Lovely hotel, with large comfortable beds (Superior Room) and balcony overlooking the golf course. Breakfast buffet with wide range of options, always well stocked and hot. Not so keen on Bodega restaurant - had a tough steak that had to be sent back. Got a taxi into la Cala de Mijas (15 minutes) for last couple of nights and found some great restaurants!

Has the most amazing views and 3 very different but lovely courses. A little bit of a trek to get from the resort but some excellent restaurants in La Cala town. Fourth time at La Cala in February a golfers paradise with complimentary use of the spa every day we will do it again

The room was good and the Housekeepers did a good job. We had a lovely verandah overlooking the 18th hole of Asia course. So we were lucky in that sense. However the really big disappointment and it is a basic one, was that the food was sub standard. The quality was poor, very little in the way of fresh vegetables so most dishes were bland and stodgy. We were very surprised at this. Even the mushrooms at breakfast were just simply out of a tin. The Spa was nice and we used it frequently so this is definitely a plus. Two good tennis courts which we did not use but in good condition. Some games such as pool and darts and table tennis which were used by us as we were a father and son pair. However again small details let the resort down. Table tennis board above the squash court so when the ball is hit off the table, it often goes down into the aerobics or squash court area! Two minute break to go downstairs to retrieve the ball. The darts board and pool table in reception have no illumination? In summary the resort is in a nice location with great views to the mountains. The golf, which was the main aim of the stay, was not as advertised. Some of the holes on Americas and Asia are like crazy golf" - so steep with elevated greens that average golfers take far too long to play a hole. Due to this and the sub standard food, we would never book a holiday at La Cala again.

La Cala was a great choice for our 3 night golf break. Having 3 courses on site made everything really straightforward. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at the resort and the trip went like clockwork from start To finish.

Comfortable hotel but would have a car next time to access restaurants in Cala de Mijas as food choices limited for a week's stay. Spa is fabulous.

Perfectly adequate. All courses close to hotel. Also only 45 mins from airport. The rooms we had would be too small to double up but were perfect as singles. Housekeeping was excellent.Spa was not open unfortunately.

Rooms are well maintained with nice furnishings. Good bar area and we ate one meal under the stars. Food good but not quite to our taste. Views from the hotel are stunning. Pool area excellent. Staff extremely helpful.

The room was a good size, well equipped, clean, fresh and well serviced. The beds were a little hard but the linen was crisp a fresh. The breakfast was to die for and a highlight of the day. All the staff were welcoming, polite, friendly, and helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble. The pool area and staff were great and the spa top class. The hotel itself is not too big and therefore not overwhelming. We will certainly be returning next year.

Disappointed not to get a room upgrade ...10th visit....friends on their first trip , there on exactly the same dates , booked with YGT like us.....got an upgrade ! Feel that our loyalty to La Cala was ignored . Looking to go elsewhere next year maybe .

The hotel is good especially so for a golf trip. My only criticism and its minor was the lack of wine choice and the dinner options were limited. Breakfast though superb which is the important one before going out to play The Spa was brilliant and unexpected.

The hotel was very much off the beaten track. Very clean, staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was good quality and reasonably priced. The room was spacious with every amenity you could need.

A wonderful hotel in a lovely location. The staff & facilities could not have been better. The only thing that tried to spoil it were the groups of screaming women that shriek their way around the pool. They were certainly enjoying themselves but they ignored everyone else (and ordered more, and more, drinks!). Shame! Brits at their worst.

From arrival to departure, the staff, services and quality was faultless. Booking in was simple, quick and efficient. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The service from the staff at reception, around the pool bar, in the dining areas and at the 'club house' was first class. Highly recommended !

We upgraded to Junior suites as the standard rooms were a little small for two sharing, Breakfast was excellent, the Bar service was excellent and the drinks were reasonably priced considering the measures. The food and service at the 19th Hole was exceptional.

Very clean, welcoming staff from front desk through to cleaners, special mention to Angel the barman and Jorge the golf attendant, great people who looked after us so well

Room was very comfortable with a great view of the Asia course from terrace

The hotel is very good with comfortable rooms and balconies with great views. The SPA is excellent and the food and drinks were reasonable. All the staff were brilliant apart from the ones at the pro shop who issue you with T times and buggies. Every day there was an argument with these guys, basically we had paid for 3 and they only wished to give us 2 and kept asking for payment for the 3rd one even after I produced the paperwork! That was very disappointing and led to us being late for our times.

Absolutely fantastic hotel in dream location for Golfers, We had asked for & were given rooms overlooking the fantastic vista of the Asia golf course. Lovely balcony & outside room door we overlooked the pool. Pool bar fantastic and all staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful. The Spa was greatly enjoyed and first class. I think we would all go back to this hotel like a shot.

Was given a lovely room overlooking the 18th fairway of the asia course. Only complaint was the size and quality of the towels very small and poor quality. Also not great choice of channel's on t.v.

Your Golf Travel’s organisation for our recent holiday to La Cala was excellent and from pick up at the airport to drop off back there at the end of the trip, we did not encounter one single problem.

For our group of 12 golfers La Cala was superb, with three really great courses (which suited all levels of our group) all on site so no transfers were needed to and from the courses, making it very convenient indeed. The hotel and accommodation was top value with extremely helpful and friendly staff, and it was nice to relax around the pool after each round.

The Hotel prices were reasonable, but it was only a €15 cab ride into town each night and it was nice to sample some of the very good local restaurants.

All in all it was a great experience, and from the feedback of all of our group, I’ve no doubts you will be hearing from us soon to book another golf holiday for next year.

All three courses are a challenge. Need to play for position rather than bomb it.

Lovely 30 minute drive from airport into the hills. On arrival the hotel looks and feels classy. If you can choose try to get a top floor room to enjoy the wonderful mountain views. We had a lower floor room but still enjoyed the tranquillity of the 18th fairway and wedding venue view. Breakfast was very nice with multi choice European food. The golf whilst sometimes intimidating, was very scenic and had great quality. Some holes seemed out of Jurassic park but were totally enjoyable. We ate a few evening meals at the hotel and they were fine. However, we discovered a local family owned a eatery about a mile down the road to the left and it was fantastic. Would I go back to la Cala? Yes.

Too many to name great holes to name just one. My grandsons favourites were 15 & 18. Loved the hotel set up.

Well worth a visit. The whole 'package' has something for everyone. You're bound to like at least one of the three courses. The hotel is excellent, the town of Mijas nearby is a nice, lively place. Overall, we'll return at some point in the future.

Hotel great. Good options for non-golfers. Partner off 28 struggled to reach several fairways from tees.

3 courses and all of similar standard and difficulty. Drive carefully in the buggy due to serious slopes.

Keep it straight.

Hotel was fine but a bit far from other attractions so you need a car to go to the beach, etc. Golf buggy essential for older players due to undulating terrain.

I thought both the Asia and Europa course's were excellent. Both courses are challenging, particularly if its your first time playing. Take plenty of balls! The condition of both was excellent, you definitely need a buggy on both. Hotel was excellent, spa was fantastic, food of a good quality, staff very welcoming.

The hotel bar had no atmosphere. The Asia course was very tight with some greens almost impossible to hold. Other two courses were ok but not particularly memorable. The golf club bar/restaurant was good.

Really enjoyed the three courses, the hotel was fine but the drinks a bit on the dear side as you would expect being held on a golf complex, My advice is to get taxis into La Cala where there are more bars and restaurants, but saying that we all had a great time.

18th on all courses were excellent, but marvellous all round.

My favourite holes were the 12th on Asia, 13th on Europa and the 5th on America.

Hotel was great, the only slight drawback to La Cala is the distance to restaurants, shops, etc.

Very hilly terrain, you will need to use a buggy. Restaurant very good, excellent breakfast and short drive to nearby town offered a good mix of places to eat. Hotel is very nice with a big pool and nice spa. Will visit again.

The three courses are all brilliant, a real test especially for high handicappers like me. The main tip for a newcomer would be, keep it on the fairway, even at the expense of distance, because the rough is, well, er....rough! The greens are well maintained for a course in constent use, and very fast. I can't imagine any golfer not enjoying these courses. The hotel is well managed, the only slight niggle is the main restaurant which is beautifully set in a courtyard but very expensive, and the food is not exceptional. There are no restaurants nearby that do not require a taxi ride to reach them.

The first hole was excellent, will never forget it. The tenth was great too! You really have to go for it.

Although this was a lovely place we will go back to Portugal next time.

Only played the European and American courses as the Asia was under maintenance. Both courses were in great condition and it wasn't overly crowded with players so you could really enjoy the round. 

Rooms great as we upgraded. Friendly staff. Favourite course was Europa and my favourite hole was 4 on Europa.

A very enjoyable experience.

The three courses at La Cala all have their own special characteristics, with spectacular scenery from almost every hole being the one common factor. The Asia Course is a fairly tight, unforgiving 18 holes and needing a fair supply of balls for the average player to complete, I stopped keeping score at Asia after the first 9.

America is a very pleasant, friendlier 18 and the Europe Course has some really good testing holes. This one let me note my best score ever, 60 net.

Many holes at La Cala have considerable height variations. La Cala gives players at all levels a good test of their abilities. The course when we were there was well maintained with both fairways and greens good.

We really enjoyed the golfing experience, being picky the only negative point being the bunkers filled with grit instead of sand.

The hotel had very friendly and helpful staff, rooms were pretty average but acceptable. There is a very good selection of wellness facilities, mostly included in the room price; a really nice place to hang out and relax after a round of golf!

Breakfast was the culinary highlight of the day and was very, very good indeed. However, disappointingly this wasn't the same in the restaurant at lunch or dinner – a very limited menu, slightly expensive and in our experience poor quality. We quickly decided that lunch and dinner outside of the hotel would be preferable.

There are many tourist restaurants in the local town at the coast just a 10 minute drive away but just two minutes from the hotel there's a very good restaurant which we often frequented.

Car hire is so very cheap in Spain, and we’d highly recommend this to have the freedom of your own.

La Cala is an experience we are intending to repeat in the near future.

On behalf of our group I would like to thank YGT for organising an amazing golfing holiday for us. The La Cala resort was spectacular. We were fortunate enough to play all 3 courses which were all in fantastic condition. The layout of the holes were amazing and having a variety of tees for different abilities ensured all our party from low to high handicappers enjoyed the experience. We cannot decide which of the courses we enjoyed the most as they were all so varied with spectacular views. The thing we were most impressed with was the friendliness of the staff. On previous trips we have felt under pressure from rangers pushing us and hurrying us even if we couldn't go any quicker due to the groups in front!! However in La Cala we had a lovely reception on the first tee and the rangers came round to ask us if we were enjoying our round and if there was anything they could do for us- so refreshing.

On completion of our round we ate at the club house where they was a lovely and reasonably priced menu. We then retired to the spa which was fantastic. With a complementary 90 mins a day in the large outdoor and indoor bubble pools we felt so relaxed.

We ate in the hotel for 2 evenings and down in La Cala town for 2 nights, a taxi is just 13 euros into the town.

The rooms were adequate but had lovely large balconies where sat out at night which was a nice bonus.

The transfers from the airport organised by YGT were great. They were there waiting for us and helped with the luggage. The drivers were really friendly and gave us lots of information about the area.

Overall this has been our favourite golf resort and we have been going as a group for the last 7 years. We would definitely return and would highly recommend for any group wanting great golf and good service.

We would also be more than happy to recommend YGT. I certainly won't be using anyone else to organise my holidays. As the group organiser it was hassle free and so easy. Thank you.

We have played the three courses at La Cala - one each for the last three years. They are all different. Campo America provides generous fairways but once in trouble you had difficulty in scrambling, which is fair enough. The course was in good condition and the greens were rapid!! The overall facilities were really good and we will be back at come point.

Tough, long course with plenty of challenges. Even so,.I really enjoyed it.

Very playable, scored a decent 36pts round it.

This round was far too long - almost 6 hours. In the second half off round it rain quite heavily and the cart paths became very dangerous and slippy. Us and golfers in other groups had many problems but there was no sign of a course Marshall anywhere. A pity as this course was quite nice with a bit of wow factor.

Not a great track, too many blind tee shots on the front 9. No GPS in the buggy which is what you need on that course. Poor in my opinion

Lots of renovations occurring at the club. 3 courses so clubhouse and tce packed with golfers. 1st hole .. do not play from whites. Built on mountain side. Otherwise very good interesting course.

This was far better for us high hc 25/28 and did enjoy the golf, over all it was good but next trip will have to be flatter courses, also very tiring on up and down walks to play your ball where buggies are not allowed, that covers all three that we played.

I would describe this as I have playing the Europa course, our other 6 players of the group did find it manageable, but again food from the buggy non existent.

As two of us were high hc, 25/28 we did find it hard and lost a few balls, not happy with the food/drink buggy being very limited with no sandwiches etc, just chocolate and drinks, if you run out why not replace !.

La Cala never fails to impress, just to many on course or should have a marshal come around to pick up on the slow groups, our Tee Time was 11:00 and we finished at 4:15 pm, not quickest but we still enjoyed it.

We play Europa most years as it’s such a good course always in great condition. Sometimes it’s very slow (has taken 5.5-6 hrs previously) but we played Friday this year and not Saturday or Sunday and it was a better paced round.

A course with 5 par 3s and some really long par 5s , building work around the middle of the course is a bit distracting but when completed it will have the same outlook of the other 2 courses , again tough but enjoyable

Early T time led to a 4 hour round. Good course. Very steep paths in places.

1.30 T time led to a 6 hour round. Nice short course with interesting holes.

This is very similar to the Europa course, probably one of the most scenic course I have ever played, hard doesn't describe how tough this course is. So many of the holes you need to carry 200 yards, so many blind shots. Don't even think about walking, you'll do 10,000 steps even in a buggy. Go slightly offline and you'll need your hiking boots as the buggies are not safe on the undulating hills. Don't let any of this put you off it's simply a stunning course. How someone had the vision to get a course in these hills is beyond me, if it was a golf course it would be full of mountain goats.

Enjoyed course.

Very disappointed. Very slow Round in the hottest part of the day. No water or ice on the buggies and no refreshment carts on the course. Nearly 5 hours in 35+ degrees with no hospitality cart is very poor. The buggies has no distance guidance on the buggies either. Will not be rushing back.

Course is longer and tighter so need to hit a good distance and be accurate.

The better course for the average and starter golfer. More space and don’t get punished as much for poor shots

A fabulous course with lots of interesting holes over gulleys and round water. Every hole was different and distinctive- a great fun holiday course which was in fantastic condition.

Lovely course with stunning views. Our round was slow as we were a 2 ball with 2 very slow 4 balls ahead. There appeared to be no course Marshall to speed up play and our round took 4.5 hours. Greens had been hollow trined a few weeks before and were still recovering . Fairways were lovely.

Some challenging holes but quite friendly overall with some beautiful scenery.

Our last course of 5. This is a golf complex and the Europa course is one of three. If I come back I would play the America and Asia as all look as good as the one we played. Get a buggy. its a must. It must have been 7 minutes by buggy from the starter to the first tee. by buggy!!! Course in excellent condition and some really stunning holes. Again a course that was very friendly and made very welcome. Downside was this is the most expensive golf shop ever. Restaurant was lovely :). would certainly come back and loved our day at La Cala.

Wider fairways ,this was much easier for my higher handicap,could see where you were going more some great holes ,especially the par three,s with water !

All of the La Cala courses can be challenging if you miss the fairways. Our group had a range of handicaps from scratch to 36 and everybody enjoyed it although scoring was mixed. Greens in great condition although slower than we remember from last time.

Decent course testing for the high handicappers round was over 5 hrs but decent facilities

DOwn as the easiest course at La Cala but didn't feel it. Some crazy terrain made it tricky even in buggies but some really great holes and in decent condition, far better than the Asia greens.

The greens really let the course down, they had a ridiculous amount of sand on them which made chipping to the greens and putting really difficult. THe bunkers were all also in very poor condition.

Couldn't fault this course top quality and my favourite of the 3. Speed played well no hold ups, greens and fairways were perfect really well kept.

The play on this course was normal speed with no hold ups. The earlier greens needed a bit of work as they had pitting and bald patches. Rest of the course was of a high quality. The course had its challenges.

It was a slow round due to the course being very busy. Greens to high quality, tee boxes look well used. Found this the most difficult of the 3 courses.
