Celebration Golf Club is a handy pick for an Orlando golf day, sitting close to Walt Disney World, Universal and SeaWorld, with Orlando International Airport also within easy reach. If you're building a trip around the theme parks, it's an easy way to get a proper round in without turning it into an all-day mission.
Open since 1996, Celebration has earned its place among the better public-access options in the area. It's an 18-hole championship course that's enjoyable for mixed-ability groups, with a layout that rewards sensible course management rather than pure power. In my opinion, that's exactly what most holiday golfers want: a course that asks questions but doesn't beat you up for the odd miss.
You'll see water on a number of holes, but it tends to be there to shape your decisions rather than simply swallow golf balls. The greens are typically in good nick, and the practice facilities give you everything you need for a warm-up. It's a venue that works for a quick morning tee time or a relaxed round before dinner, and it's often better value than some of the headline resort courses in the area.
The course sits within the master-planned community of Celebration, so you're playing through well-maintained, attractive surroundings rather than the typical Florida resort sprawl. That makes for a pleasant few hours on the course, whether you're a low-handicap golfer looking for a solid test or a higher-handicap golfer who wants to enjoy the round without losing half a dozen balls.
Who is this for?
Golfers on an Orlando break who want quality golf close to the main attractions, and groups looking for a playable championship course without travelling far from Disney or Universal.
Who is it best for?
Mixed-ability groups and mid-to-high handicap golfers who want a proper round that won't punish wayward shots, plus families wanting convenient golf near the theme parks.

A public course which was in ok condition, the greens were good though. A testing track and probably the hardest we played. Reasonable pace of play. ready for you and everyone was welcoming, staff were friendly and the facilities were good. overall a good course and a good test.

Despite our tee-time not being booked by YGT. The management couldn't do enough for us. We manage to play & even had a complimentary lunch.

Great course. You might spot the odd gator or two. Green were ok but not the best. We played this course twice. On the second time it was carts on the path only, due to heavy rain the night before so took a lot longer to get around.

A wonderful experience. Worth visiting for the pro shop and the driving range. The course was in great condition apart from bare areas around the green which made approach shots unpredictable. The areas dedicated to wild life, beautiful. The clubhouse and pro shop staff were amazing. Well worth a visit.

Not a bad course, quite built in some areas - so if you have a bit of slice or pull you can be in someone's house!

Lovely course with super fast greens. Layout was fair and each hole was different. Price was good for the quality of course. Not too busy either.
