Nice room with plenty of space. Spotlessly clean. Food excellent with very nice staff from reception to restaurant.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my husbands 50th eventhough we missed our first round of golf due to Heavy rain, everyone was very helpful,because of the weddings it is NOISY until late and drunk people smoking everywhere THAT is probably why the houskeeping lady dared to nick my husbands AirPods from the table when cleaning Friday, expecting he would be thinking ”ahhh I probably left them in the bar”he didn’t use them any other than on the plane ride there and leaving saturday it was NOWHERE to be found, back in Sweden we have turned inside out at our luggage so this is unfortunately our conclusion,they were 1:st generation Apple AirPods and not ”worth” anything BUT still this is serious for you as a golf&country club!

The rooms are very modern and comfortable but to get around the hotel and bars you need to go outside, it was a rainy day and evening and the stairs were very slippery. Bathroom tiny but good The food was excellent and service and staff brilliant. Shout out to Helen and Car, thank you.

All staff excellent so friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble we had to change the date of this a couple of times due to unforseen circumstances absolutely no trouble doing so. Reception great bedroom great food and drinks great but the staff made it every one we spoke to was fantastic. Not a single complaint thank you

The room that we were given (Room 9) was a little tired particularly the bathroom. We had 3 86 year olds with us (we were all over 70) and showering in the bath was both dangerous (no bath grips or grab handles) and also saturated the bathroom floor.

Hotel was very pleasant from the outside, staff personable, bar good , breakfast freshly cooked evening meal plain just standard fare. Rooms very small, Hot and not well equipped.

Accomodation was comfortable. Staff were helpful. Leisure facilities were adequate for a short stay.

Nothing not to like - comfortable rooms, all close to restaurant and bar, friendly staff, good grub.

Considering the current climate the hotel was very good. Very strict on Face covering in the bar/ restaurant. Evening meal ok breakfast very good

Very pretty course but again quite muddy in places. Only 9 holes but a very nice round. Again a few holes with a bit of distance between them!

Very enjoyable round although fairways a bit wet because of recent heavy rain. Quite a lot of long walks between holes which made the round longer than normal but still enjoyable. Lovely course.

Great little course, thought I was booked to play the 18 hole so was little disappointed when found out i was having to play the 9 hole but pleasantly surprised.. some great holes that offered some challenging play...

Great course, some challenging holes but in great condition, greens were lovely... we tee off at 2pm but had no issues with anyone holding us up...

Great course. Tee bays need a little bit of attention but the rest was really good. Very good layout. Greens we quick and true. Shame we couldn’t do two rounds on the griffin.

9 hole course was good. Tee bays a bit beat up and uneven lies to tee off on. Greens very good but much slower than 18 hole course.

Some lovely views and a few tricky short holes but a lot of fun in the same good condition as the Griffin a little confusing the first time you play both courses inter mingle so you need to follow the signs which were good.

Great course still a bit damp in patches greens difficult and fast but not unfair a course I will play better after a few rounds there are a few blind shots and first time round you are not sure where to go and it inter mingles with the Phoenix so you just need to follow the goo signage but very enjoyable and some great views.

Great short course. Still a challenge though.

A little difficult finding your way around first time and some longish walks green to tee but overall we really enjoyed the round

Griffin course very well maintained greens good and challenging.

Unfortunately played course after some heavy rain. The course does retain the water so was quite wet in places with some greens being very spongy. Some of the large trees could be removed from around greens to allow them to dry out. Overall a good experience and would like to play again in better conditions.

Sold as as 18 holes, but you play the same 9 twice, however they are good holes and didn't mind that. Got round quickly.

There was not many people on this course at all on the second day which was good. But again due to the weather the greens were a bit slow and some water logged (but it did start raining badly while out there)

The first day the course was very busy and we were waiting behind another group at the tee on the last 8 holes. The course was great but due to the weather the fairways were very muddy etc

Unfortunately the weather wasn't brilliant but wouldn't hesitate going back in the summer.

9 hole course but interesting holes, need to gauge letting people playing 9 holes in the middle of people playing 18.

14 handicap. Ok for me on second day as knew where I was going. But our higher handicappers struggled with the course. But they enjoyed it very much, would reccomend
