Measuring just over 6,900 yards from the tips and with a par of 72, this intriguing layout is long enough to challenge the lower handicapped golfer while four other sets of tees make it more than manageable for golfer of all abilities.
Located in the foothills of a beautiful valley, the courses main feature and defence is the sweeping undulations that demand sound club selection when approaching the greens. A small river interconnects five separate lakes meaning water is a constant threat to a good score while strategically placed bunkers also add to the challenge. Play this course sensibly and you will no doubt have bags of fun in the Spanish sun.
Font Del Llop is ranked as one of the best courses in Costa Blanca

First time playing this course and it was disappointing. The greens where not good at all, but the biggest disappointment was the slow play over 5 hours for 18 holes with no one trying to do anything about it.

This is one of our favorite courses, very hot when we visited 38c, so the gentle breeze in the mountains was very welcome, some quite challenging holes with a few nasty surprises, if you dont know the course you need to really understand the lay out as you can easily be caught out from some tee shots....lost balls.

The kitchen closed at 4pm so there was no opportunity to have a meal after the round. If we had known this at the time of booking, we would have had a chance to make other arrangements. The kitchen at Alenda Golf also closed earlier than we expected.

Golf course in great condition, greens were slick and consistent. Pro shop was well stocked and the staff were friendly. Facilities good for the limited space. Would definitely play again.

Very nice course with some great views. Fairways were in excellent condition, as were the bunkers. Some of the early greens could do with some improvement, as there were a few bare areas, but most were great. Fairways are a bit on the narrower side and we were told we may want to keep the driver in the bag from the 4th hole, but most of us managed to find them even with the driver. Overall a very good course, definitely recommended.

A lovely course but the front nine is very tight on several holes. There was only an outside bar set up with the staff finishing at 5pm. Our coach arrived at 6.30pm… We gave the barman a tip and he stayed for an additional hour. Poor opening bar times bearing in mind our tee slots. Golfers seemed to just come out whenever from the bar to start their back nine causing one of our groups to spend an extra hour on the course.

First time at Font Del Llop. Probably not entirely the fault of the golf course, but we (a group of four) had groups of one, two and three in front of us. That shouldn't have held us up, but it did and the lone golfer in front of us gave up at the 9th because the groups in front of him were so slow. It's a tough course, the greens were good and the course was generally in good condition, but the sand in the bunkers was inconsistent, even in the same bunker at times, ranging from soft and forgiving to being like playing off concrete. Staff were very helpful and welcoming and the outside terrace a pleasant area to finish the round.

We played this difficult course on a windy day which made good scoring hard. The front nine has some stunning holes. The greens were tricky and true, but were let down by some rough hole cutting which was a shame. The minimum standard to play this course is good teen handicapper. Expect to lose some balls.

We really enjoyed the course - from the start it looks quite simple but its very deceiving. Overall condition was excellent and the staff really helpful
