The food was terrible sent our starters main meal back and the service wasn’t that great

Lovely hotel in fantastic setting. The staff were the star of the show as they could not be more welcoming and helpful.

All of the staff were lovely but some could probably do with a little more training. The room was large and the bed comfortable, although it didn't have air con just a fan in the room which was a little noisy. unfortunately the TV didn't work and the controls for the shower were very grubby and the door handle to the shower was very loose. I think they are trying to pass the facilities off as pretty upmarket but to do so there is work to be done

We upgraded but to be honest the rooms were a bit tired, dirty headboards, worn furniture. Bed and bathroom very nice. Maim problem was no air con, very surprising with how expensive the rooms are. Unbearable at night with the hot weather

Foxhills website needs to be changed as room was not as stated on website. Junior suite, no doors to terrace or balcony, no view of grounds Very dissapointing

Really good, only moan are the halfway hits, far to expensive.

Hotel rooms were good. The cleanliness off the 19th restaurant was bad, felt like a leisure centre cafe. 70% staff aren’t friendly almost fed up. Had to ask for room to be made into a twin as was a double on arrival. The facilities were also good but cleanliness again was a bit hit and miss. The mens changing rooms smell like sewage.

Great room, even had a little patio area outside.

Stayed two nights in July 2021. The hotel and grounds were exceptional. Rooms did not have air conditioning and the temp was 26 degrees with high humidity. It was extremely uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. However, had the weather not been quite so hot, it would have been absolutely fine and we had a wonderful time despite this. Those lovely people at Your Golf Travel kindly gave us an upgrade to a junior suite which was beautiful. Apart from the weather-induced discomfort, we enjoyed the accommodation and facilities (which are spectacular and extensive) enormously. The beds were comfortable and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Food in main restaurant was pretty average but was much better in XIX restaurant. All staff - every single one - was exceptional. Polite, helpful, professional - they were absolutely brilliant.

Breakfast cold , no hand sanitizer at end of buffet which everyone was sharing same cutlery . Was not made aware of budget on dinner when booking golf break Receptionist not interested in how our stay was and Bernard Hunt course over booked so not an enjoyable round .

Excellent hotel - perfect resort style hotel for a trip away as a couple, or with friends as we were - food and drink all superb and service excellent

Well run establishment. Two excellent 18 hole courses. Many facilities other than golf.

Lovely and comfortable stay. Excellent staff. Room superb. Food excellent. Would have given 5 star but; no hot for a bath or shower and told it takes 20 mins to fill up tank if over used. Also soup starter came out cold.

Hotel has very nice Spacious rooms and impressed with the Covid 19 regulation procedures in place, feels very safe.

Impressed with the way everything was taken care of. Our stay went without a hitch We felt very safe and will certainly pay another visit.

Rooms are great in the new block. I had an issue with the heating which wouldn't turn down so they found another room for us . the staff are very friendly and approachable.

Fantastic hotel, a little bit of luxury!

The hotel has excellent facilities. Two of the rooms wecwe allocated were very basic and not up to standard. Old fashioned snd very hot. Like staying in your grandmothers house. You expect bettter for the price. Very disappointed especially for the non golfers. Food was average and the breakfast buffet poor. The service at the bars was slow.

All staff & members we met made us feel very welcome if you haven't been go you will not be disappointed

Excellent 1 night break. Hotel and courses first rate. Standard room large and met all our needs. Staff couldn’t be more friendly or helpful. I would strongly recommend Foxhills for a special golf break

booking included dinner but when we got to hotel it was £30.00 voucher per person which was only the cost of a main course in the hotel restaurant. This should be made clear to guests booking as other golf bookings I have previously had at hotels 3 course dinner was inclusive.

Great trip to Foxhills, all organised expertly between yourgolftravel and the staff at the resort. Excellent service throughout and very comfortable accommodation in the Dormy house.

Nice relaxing weekend in comfortable surroundings.Excellent food in both restaurants at different levels.Staff in 19th restaurant is friendly and we had a lovely evening with good service. Would return.

Tee time was 30 minutes behind due to club competition that we was aware of, nearly 5:30 hour round.

Greens were slow.

The course was a mud bath, very poor conditions to play in. Suspect on a good day the course would be very enjoyable

Course extremely wet underfoot, made playing difficult and hence not that enjoyable. No rain at the time we played, ground absolutely saturated

Longcross was our favourite of the two , the starter was very informative, loved the newly designed hole

The course was in good condition bearing in mind recent weather and maintenance work. Wet in places and greens bumpy. Good test and able to play at own pace as course not busy.

Sadly we got stuck behind a very slow group!! We did get let through the day before.

Even though we only played 9 holes due to the weather we thought this was the better of the 2 courses.

The course was very disappointing, the fairways were in pretty poor condition and the overall presentation of the course we thought was poor. As well as been a member of a club I play at a number of courses throughout the year and I would say this would be near the bottom of my list. We certainly wouldn't return.

Just a Stunning golf course.

Similar to Bernard Hunt, greens were scarified, hollow tined and heavily sanded which were awful. Fairways were better conditon.

Longcross was perhaps a little tougher than the Bernard Hunt but still perfectly playable for all standards of golfer. It is not as tight as stories suggest but positioning your ball well is important. Gotta keep it in play as escaping out of the trees is rarely easy. Bunkers weren't great (too much compacted sand making it impossible to hit a splash shot) but they were brilliantly positioned. Course design is brilliant and even in rotten wet weather, it was a pure pleasure to play. Some of the views from the tees are just picture-postcard stuff. Again - it's not a really hard course and players of all standards could play it - but it is tougher than the average parkland course. If you get the chance - go play it. In fact do yourself a treat - go play both of them.

Played off the white tees and it was a tough but fair challenge. We had a range of handicaps from low single figures upto 24 and all enjoyed the course. Greens were very true and very fast. The breaks on the greens are subtle but fair. Sand in bunkers was a little compacted on occasions but that's about the only fault we could come up with. Fairways are wide and accommodating but it's important to position your ball well - being on the wrong side of the fairway often leads to a lay up rather than a shot to the green. The design of the course is superb - bunkers and other hazards are brilliantly positioned - rewarding good shots but punishing bad ones fairly. It is a harder than average test and you will need all your skills to play it. But more than anything else, it was just enormously enjoyable to play. Beautiful to look at and just a lot of fun!

Too over booked very slow and disjointed round , greed by Foxhills booking so many on , no Marshall on course either , would not come back

Wow. Stunning golf course - picture perfect and pretty much tree lined on every hole (which might not be to everyone's cup of tea - it's no open links), but so beautiful. Need to be straight here, but no shortage of different challenges and just in perfect condition throughout. Would return in a heartbeat

Outstanding first day (of two) on the Bernard Hunt, as the designated "lesser" of two courses at the venue, it's still excellent - a real challenge for golfers of all levels but also in really great nick. Lots of variation in holes but very easy on the eye.

Sunday afternoon round, following a Junior competition, so a bit busy, but no problems with that. All very civilised. Excellent course.

All four of us loved this course. Beautiful, great holes, especially the par 3's. In far better condition than the Bernard. A proper test for your golf game. Cannot wait to play this in drier conditions.

I have to accept that there had been a lot of rain recently. Course was very muddy but no water puddles. We found quite a few bare mud lies around the greens. Greens appeared to have lots of worm casts and debris. Fantastic layout and cannot wait to play it in better condition though. Definitiely play again

Really enjoyed the course , difficult for high handicappers. Course in good condition considering it rained for almost the 2 days which meant a few longer second shots. Overall would highly recommend.

We would love to play this Course again. The sides of some fairways were soggy but that was due to heavy rainfall. Again due to minimal sign posting, first time players may find difficulties in locating tees. Will be looking out for deals so we can visit again.

Beautiful Parkland Course. Thoroughly enjoyed playing on it. As visitors, for the 1st time it was difficult to find the tees as sign posting was minimal.

We had a great days golf on the Longcross. Accuracy is the key with lots of tree lined fairways. The greens were in great condition.

We had an excellent days play at the Bernard Hunt Course. Condition of the course was really good and the greens were quick and ran true. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely course. Pretty setting, holes varied, tree lined fairways. preferred it to Bernhard Hunt course.

Unfortunately course very wet and boggy in places after recent heavy rain. Not sure how it would hold up in winter?

the course was in beautiful condition especially the rough. The greens putted well but were quick. the greens were not receptive no matter how high the chip in was it just would not stop and even if the first bounce was short still ended up at the back of the green which was very tough

Excellent course in better condition than the Longcross. Very good design with some excellent driving holes from elevated tees.

Rather wet and windy weekend.Would like to play it again sometime.

Very well maintained course. Tree lined fairways and receptive greens. Nice mix of long par 5’s and shorter more challenging par 4’s
