Garstang Hotel & Golf Club

Another excellent stay at the Garstang hotel.Weather was superb and the golf very enjoyable as usual.It was a great couple of days for our party.

Couldn’t fault the hotel. The rooms were ideal apart from being too warm, had to leave the windows open overnight. The staff were friendly and the food was good and fresh.

The hotel was great, no complaints about the facilities /room. The food however was poor on the Saturday night. Overall however it was still good value for money.

Bedroom was a bit smelly … probably from furniture that I would NOT put my clothes on !! Room rather devoid of character , no pictures/paintings on walls but bed was comfy. Food was reasonable for Dinner and breakfast passable. Staff were nice , friendly and Local.

We really enjoyed our 2 days golf at the resort. Weather was perfect and everyone commented on the excellent condition of the course,everything was so green,we were not used to it 👍⛳️

Course looked very tatty. The course needs a bit of TLC. No Tee box markers or markers on the course. Not good that the course is not on England golf as we couldn't use the handicap system.

Whilst we were supposed to be booked on for a round of golf on the Sunday and Monday, if we hadn’t enquired about a buggy for for the Monday while paying for the buggy on the Sunday, we would not have known that we had not been allocated any times for the Monday. Fortunately there were times available but not the ones that we were supposed to have been playing.

We've been the this course a few years in a row now, it's always in great condition and great value for money. There is a practice green however no practice nets. The only downside is due to the location the course is very windy, it makes what I'd say is an easyish course more challenging to play.

Nice course good lay out some tricky holes greens in good condition.Helpful staff No complaints from my group.Would go back again.

Good value course but not very well draining so not good in wet periods

The course was in great condition, the wind made it difficult both days however in general the course wasn't too difficult for a group that included some players off max handicaps. Great value for money.

Enjoyed the course even through the rain. Not too many hazards yet a reasonable test for myself and my son both mid to high handicaps. Staff were incredibly friendly and the course was fabulous value for money

Recovered farm land and still acts like it ! Fairways a bit meadow-like though greens will get better and they are well constructed. Green staff are obviously putting the work in and overall it was worth the money … best played whilst everything is dry and running.
