The natural hazards that the designer has utilised make the course feel mature, despite its relative youth. The signature hole is the par-3 seventh, where finding the green is a daunting proposition, as the putting surface is guarded tightly by a stream at the front.

Another excellent stay at the Garstang hotel.Weather was superb and the golf very enjoyable as usual.It was a great couple of days for our party.
Couldn’t fault the hotel. The rooms were ideal apart from being too warm, had to leave the windows open overnight. The staff were friendly and the food was good and fresh.

Bedroom was a bit smelly … probably from furniture that I would NOT put my clothes on !! Room rather devoid of character , no pictures/paintings on walls but bed was comfy. Food was reasonable for Dinner and breakfast passable. Staff were nice , friendly and Local.
