Things to do in St Lucia
Pigeon Island
One of the most popular destinations whilst visiting St Lucia is Pigeon Island, near the northern tip. Whilst visiting you can get history lessons about the landmark’s previous occupants and learn more about how this man-made land was formed. Lively concerts are also held here, including the annual St Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival.
Beaches
The St Lucia beaches are to die for with the white sand and crystal clear water. Reduit Beach is one to be named with an expansive shoreline, glorious sunsets, all whilst being within a close proximity of the bars, shops and restaurants in Rodney Bay. Reduit is also a great spot to try out some water sports including windsurfing and waterskiing, or simply relax on the shores for a peaceful day on the sand.
Hiking
In and amongst St Lucia there is a selection of hiking trails where you can witness absolutely spectacular views across the island, Tet Paul Nature Trail and The Pitons are two of the best spots that are worth the trek. Despite there being two peaks to climb at The Pitons, a majority will choose the Gros Piton over the Petit Piton, due to it’s challenging layout. Along the way you will be able to enjoy absolutely iconic views across all of St Lucia.
Drive Times in St Lucia
The golf courses are set in the northern tip of the island, and the international airport is based in the southern tip, so the trip between the two destinations is the longest time you will have to spend driving around St Lucia.
