When travelling to the North Island, you will mostly likely fly into Auckland, where it is definitely worth staying for a few nights before transferring to your final destination. Auckland is the largest city in New Zealand and has plenty of attractions including the Sky Tower for panoramic city views, kayaking to a volcanic island, or visiting one of the hundreds of beautiful beaches.

Queenstown is ideal for the adventurous traveller, with bungee jumping off Kawarau Gorge Bridge and also experiencing ‘Over the top Golf’ where you will take a helicopter up the mountains to attempt to sink a golf shot from 4,500 feet up overlooking the picturesque town.
