Hacienda del Alamo Golf and Spa Resort is situated a stone’s throw from the stunning El Valle Regional Park and just a short drive from Murcia International Airport or just over an hour from Alicante Airport.

The on-site course consists of 18 fantastic holes designed by the legendary Dave Thomas whose portfolio of work includes the world famous Brabazon Course at The Belfry and the San Roque Old Course.

Surrounded by natural wasteland, Hacienda del Alamo is a lush golfing oasis that, thanks to a number of different tee positions, will provide an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all shapes and sizes.

From the back tees the course measures a mighty 7,353 yards while forward tees mean the course can be reduced to a more manageable yardage that just exceeds the 6,000 yard mark.

With wasteland all around there is an obvious requirement of accuracy from the tee while subtle elevation changes, particularly when approaching the raised greens will call for good club selection and sensible course management. Lush green fairways meander their way in and around the existing almond and olive groves while several lakes and the odd trickling waterfall add to the challenge.

While the course has plenty of holes that could be considered to be the signature hole, the 18th is certainly one of the highlights of a round here. This long, challenging par 5 with water lurking just left of the putting surface is a great way to finish your round at Hacienda del Alamo.

In addition to the fantastic golf course, Hacienda del Alamo is also home to an excellent golf academy which includes a full length driving range, 6 practice holes and dedicated short game areas that will ensure no golfer tees it up without being ready for the test ahead.
