Handsworth golf course, located in the suburbs of west Birmingham, is a hidden gem of the West Midlands. Established in 1895, Handsworth relocated to its present site a year later.

The layout was redesigned by Harry Colt in 1920 and remained largely unchanged for nearly a century. Offering an enjoyable test for players of every skill level, and you will experience a welcoming ambiance in the clubhouse following your round.

Handsworth Golf Course

With over a century of tradition behind it, this mature 18-hole parkland course stands out as a gem among West Midlands golf courses. The course is impeccably maintained, and the practice amenities are top-notch.

The layout which is lined with trees, spans over 6,300 yards from the back markers, and has a par of 70. Notable holes include the 14th, a left doglegged par rated as stroke index 1, where a stream runs diagonally across the fairway and the approach shot plays uphill to a green protected by sand.
