Haverfordwest Golf Club is situated in the heart of Pembrokeshire, some 55 miles west of Swansea and 20 miles north of Tenby. The parkland course was founded in 1904 and serves up stunning views of the Preseli Mountains to the north and the castles of Haverfordwest and Roch.

Golfers visiting this part of Wales can pair Haverfordwest up with other great layouts along the South West Pembrokeshire coastline. Tenby is the star attraction with the seaside courses of Ashburnham and Pennard ensuring the quality of golf on offer is second to none.

Haverfordwest Golf Course

The excellent parkland course is located around 7 miles from the coast near the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

The 18 hole, par 70, course measures 6,002 yards from the back tees and provides an ideal challenge to players of all handicaps.

The course has been developed over the years with maturing trees now lining the fairways. The most recent development is to the pond on the par 3 fourteenth making it look like an island green, a challenging tee shot whatever your standard.

The modern clubhouse has excellent facilities including a recently refurbished lounge, golfers’ bar and a restaurant offering home cooked cuisine in a traditional atmosphere.

Accommodation at Haverfordwest Golf Club

The Fairways View at Haverfordwest offers a spacious 3 bedroom apartment on the golf course, with magnificent views over the surrounding countryside.

The sleeping quarters, in which there is one double bed and two lots of twins, are accompanied by a spacious living room with TV and reclining sofas and chairs, as well as a well-equipped kitchen for storing a few refreshments, alongside a cooker/hob, fridge/freezer and additional fridge, ideal for a few beers.
