La Reserve Golf Links serves up panoramic ocean views from every hole, the co-designers of Open Champion Louis Oosthuizen & Peter Matkovich have created a layout that has already been listed to host the DP World Tour Mauritius Open.
Oosthuizen has been quoted as saying "What strikes you when you arrive at La Reserve Golf Links is the site itself, it’s truly spectacular. It’s dramatic, it’s different, and quite unique."
La Reserve Golf Links plays hand-in-hand with nature, the fields that were once used for sugar cane production have been sensitively planted with native grasses to create rich rolling grasslands, encouraging ecological diversity.

Best golf course I have ever played! A "bucket list" course like St Andrews or Pebble Beach. Links style but down a hill overlooking the Indian Ocean!! Buggies are mandatory and necessary as you drive to the top of the course for approx 20 mins to get to the first tee. Take plenty of balls because you will lose some. Expensive but worth playing once in your life. Wow

Good quality holiday golf course. Need buggies in 30 degrees however. No electric trolleys for hire only push. The cynic in me suggests that this is because they want you to pay for a buggy every day.....

A links course running from high on the mountainside to a clubhouse set in the dunes - well away, but with fantastic views, of the sea. For many this course will be a challenge. If the wind is up play not for a score but to minimise the number of lost balls! Just enjoy the course and views. Not a walking course however many new buggies this year, speed restricted, particularly on some very steep slopes. Some double fairway holes and beware the bunker in one green. Clubhouse and service excellent.

Despite work to the greens early in our stay the greens recovered within a couple of days and played well. The caddy master, his team and the proshop (despite being refurbished during our stay) gave a personal friendly service frequently addressing us by name. Speed around the course will depend on time of play and group sizes in front of you. For some the course will be a challenge, some holes particularly. If you are wayward plenty of balls will be required!

Well designed, in great condition given some heavy rain. Some really good holes and happy to play it 3 times in a week. Lunch at the course was excellent also. If you get the opportunity, go play La Reserve also. Really tough golf course with amazing views and challenging holes. Oh and a 15 minute buggy ride to the 1st tee in the hills…the 12yo MacAllan at the start made it worth it!
