Hesketh Golf Club

Friendly greeting in the pro-shop. The course was in good condition and well presented but not in the same league as either West Lancs or Hillside. Still a worthwhile visit and very enjoyable.

Very much a course of two halves, 7 of the nicest holes you’ll play unfortunately coupled with 11 that don’t stand up well with the courses around.

Brief respite from the tougher links courses. Lovely condition and a pleasant walk around a reasonably flat course. Nice coffee but catering was not available due to staff training

Parkland course very nice

Josh and his staff were excellent and his efforts to make our group all feel welcome were above and beyond

A lovely course too. We took our time as it was a rainy and potentially thundery morning but thankfully none of it came our way. The course is set up very nicely for visitors and we really enjoyed our round. Staff & members all very friendly.

We liked the course, it has a few really interesting holes, but overall is fairly easy. We played at 10am on a Sunday and there wasn’t anyone on it, which was rather surprising and we went at a good pace and got lucky with the weather, while those teeing off later had to have their waterproofs on.

A lovely set up, great location. The fairways were a little scruffy in places and the greens had recently been seeded so not as fast as they normally are.

Average course but a good warm up
