Isla Canela Links opened in 2007 offering breathtaking views that will leave you in awe. The meticulously maintained fairways and unforgettable holes make for a truly remarkable golfing experience. When you choose Isla Canela Links for your golf break in Spain, you are guaranteed an unforgettable round of golf.
One of the defining features of Isla Canela Links is its wide and open fairways, reminiscent of the American style. However, don't let the spaciousness deceive you. The prevailing winds from the Guadiana River often play tricks on golfers, making it challenging to keep a consistent score. With a length of 6,540 meters, Isla Canela Links is undeniably a demanding golf course. But rest assured, it never becomes monotonous or repetitive.

Decent test although we played it just prior to it being shut for overseeding so it could have been better on the fairways

The staff could not have been more hospitable and went above and beyond. Electric fast greens, course in superb condition. Off the whites a good mixture of precision accuracy needed yet some holes where you can open up the shoulders with the driver. Brilliant clubhouse with delicious food. Very walkable course. Felt more a golf club with locals rather than a resort golf club.

It was a little easier at Isla Canela, as the course is pretty flat, being on an estuary. However, there were some ecellent holes and some difficult challenges.
