In the summer of 2012, the worlds leading golf course designer Jack Nicklaus and the architectural company Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo joined forces to develop a common concept that would create the new Jurmala Golf Club & Hotel.
Now that the work is done the course and its new Hotel are open for business. Jurmala Golf Club & Hotel courses are open from April to October.

Jurmala is a lovely golf course! It is very “open”, with only a few trees & clear views across the course. It has many, many ponds, plus the rough is very long & punitive, which is what makes it a challenging course requiring accuracy. Everything is really well maintained: fairways, bunkers & greens all really good. The clubhouse is modern with outside seating for post golf drinks. The staff were friendly & helpful. The inclusion of range balls (large driving range) with our free fees was nice. Buggies are electric & modern with GPS etc. Our first round was at a good pace. Our 2nd round on the Saturday was a bit slower as the course was busy.
