The course is maintained in immaculate condition throughout the year, and lovers of seaside golf will appreciate the simplicity of the layout; a few blind drives are thrown in, but essentially, Colt's unrivalled manipulation of the towering sand dunes is enough to create one of Europe's finest links courses.
The clubhouse echoes the distinct British influence at Kennemer, and with the addition of nine holes by Frank Pennink in 1985, the club is better than ever. Just moments from the popular seaside holiday town of Zandvoort, Kennemer Golf and Country Club remains a firm favourite with links golf enthusiasts the world over.
