Best described as an inland links golf course, Koksijde opened recently in 2012 with 27 holes of golf. The Langeleed 18 hole championship course and the Hazebeek 9 hole course. Originally designed in the 1920's by Harry Colt, the course fell into financial difficulties and the land was sold by the owners. British architect Jeremy Pern was hired to design the new courses that feature today.

The Langeleed course (translated as the Long Suffering Course) measures 6981 yards from the back tees and provides the ultimate challenge. One can expect the typical rolling fairways with high rough and deep bunkers protecting the fast, undulating greens. If that is not enough, the strong winds coming in from the North Sea should give you something extra to consider.
