North Course at La Manga Club

Nice course although tough when it’s windy. Pace of play could be better. Greens and fairways great condition.

More interesting than the South course. The round seemed to flow better than the South course.

Excellent course but bunkers were in poor condition but this may be down to the fact that they had had extremely heavy rain the day before we arrived.

Great course. Provides a real test and has some great holes. Great condition too given the traffic it receives. Played this course twice and enjoyed both rounds. Bit of a walk between some holes so buggy recommended (reserve in advance!!!). Expect 4.5-5hrs for a round as it’s probably the busiest course.

Same as the South course 5 hours and no one starting.Again only saw the drinks buggy once.

My only problem with the north was walking distance between a number of holes

North course was the best the only complaint was the range balls we’re very very bad

A little easier than the West Course as it was more open and had a little more freedom to get the driver out

This course is the easiest of the three and is quite forgiving off the tee if you miss left or right. I would say it’s the least interesting of the three La Manga courses but was still fun! Similar to the other courses, the course could be in better condition.

Great thinking course shorter than the south but some tricky holes

The course was in very good condition and same as the south course no halfway house open and no drinks buggy.

Same as South course, but position play is more important.

North course was a little bit boring not really any interesting holes....

The greens were tough but fantastic, running true and fast. The course was perfect as were the facilities.

Best course in my opinion, played La manga courses several times & this just beats the south , which all eight players also rated the better course , same condition as the south . Did not play the west course, great course but quiet difficult at times & didn’t want to make the high handicapped players lose confidence & several balls ,

Difficult to give a realistic view of this course as it was just open after 10 days of Course maintenance. there were large bare areas around the greens and parts of the fairway.

Much the same as our party comments with the South, other than better looking course and played harder than the South.

Day 2 took us to La Manga North, the friendlier of the two La Manga courses we played (inc South). This course offered some unforgettable holes—2, 6, 14, and 18 stood out the most, each presenting scenic views, tricky bunkers, and a variety of strategic challenges. The 6th hole, in particular, was a personal favourite. Sadly fairways suffering from a regional water ban.

Good course with challenging holes. Very playable, didn’t lose too many balls unless you were in a hazard. Fairways were very bare after a long hot summer and bunkers were lacking sand. Played it twice and enjoyed both

Easiest of the three so if you are new to golf this is the course for you. Greens in good condition but one to shoot low scores on

Overall a bit easier than the South, but still lots of ravines which act as magnets for balls in the same way as water. Course map again essential. A bit of to and froing across the road between the 2 parts of the course - buggy useful for these bits, otherwise trolley ok. I managed to thin a wedge onto the road, where there was probably a car vs. Titleist encounter, luckily not filmed for Youtube.

We were there the first day the course was reopened after a lot of work, which was still being done. but a good course to play.

Loved this course! A good challenge for both of us (one low handicap, one higher) and some tricky holes to test our accuracy around the greens.

Greens were slow and shabby .

A great course, rewarding and forgiving with good greens. Still some disease on the greens leaving some bare areas, but really receptive and true running in general. A really fun course to play.

The only downside was the greens had some disease so a few were covered in sand, otherwise a decent course but didn't provide anything too special. Considering the condition the value for money wasn't quite there on the day.

Greens were awful

Very helpful starters and staff, the greens are large, in good condition and fast. The ravines can be an issue for the higher handicap's and it's a tuff walk.

Tricky course but not long and a good golfer would get around in under 4 hours. Greens also had some disease but generally putted well.

Good layout and very helpful staff both at the golf club desk and buggy team. Greens were terrible, they clearly have had a disease and treated but not great to play on.

Terrible greens diseased

It is suppose to be the easiest of the 3 courses but still played hard. Slope 131 would make it amongst the most difficult I play in the UK. Lots of sand. Very nice course lovely views, great greens. Buggies 53Euro but a great round of golf.

Overall the course looked good but the greens were slow and some had patches of diseased grass.

The first tee is in walking distance from the rear of the hotel (via the outside terrace and bar). Five minute walk to the clubhouse (and another bar) to collect the buggies. Staff in golf shop very helpful although we were allocated different tee times from those reserved due to work being done on the South course which was closed. Advance information on this should have been given because we wanted to play the South course. Hollow tining on the North course greens meant that they were in poor condition when we played on the Wednesday but by the Friday, there had been some improvement. Wide open fairways with a recommendation for buggies as a long distance from some greens to tees.

Very similar in condition to the South Course but plays a little easier and shorter. As with the South Course, no complains and it was very well kept.

Very nice course,some work had been done on the greens so sometimes didn't get a true roll , & the bunkers could do with more sand. But overall enjoyable.

Great course, not to long, however, plenty of hazards to keep you on your toes.

We played this course twice and on the first occasion the refreshments buggy made a number of appearances but on the second round we never saw him once and found ourselves having to leave the course to get some refreshments as we were dehydrating in the hot weather. However, we loved the course.

One round slow, second round good pace

Ideal course for an outing and play moved at a reasonable pace. Greens were large and in great condition. Bunkers were variable but the course was in good condition.

Played north course twice as the pro shop advised the greens at west course really weren’t good. We were advised of this by Craig before our trip.

Probably the most straight forward of the 3 courses but enough gullies and water to make you think.

Lovely golf course and speed of play was just about right. Buggies expensive at €53 even electric trolleys were €23.

Fairest golf course of them all for all abilities. Plenty of risk and reward holes.

Good condition hard walking course

We played the course twice after moving off the West course. First round was slow due to some poor golfers in front of us. The second 3 hours 45. Great test, and a again the wind can and does change its dynamics. Greens as with the south need further investment..

The greens at la managa used to be like snooker tables.. this trip they were nowhere near...and many golfers clearly do not have the etiquette to repair their potch marks which doesn't help

Course is obviously still recovering from lack of maintenance staff due to Covid but steps are being taken to improve. Despite notices at the club house, many people did not follow dress code and were playing all sorts of inappropriate attire unchallenged by the course staff.

A decent course enjoyable and enjoyed by everyone shame about the drinks cart but in these times understandable

We played two rounds on the North course and were disappointed in the state of the greens, after complaining we had free buggies for the second round. We played at two other courses in the area witch were both in very good condition and less expensive

The refreshments buggy was out of action the first day we played. We really missed that. The second day, it didn't appear until we were on the 14th green and pretty "hangry". I don't think that this is acceptable from an "exclusive" 4/5 star resort.

Six people on the trip and told on arrival that two of us may need to play with two people from outside our group. This possibility should have been mentioned when we booked the two tee times. North course was in pretty poor condition compared to South.

A great beginners course but long if you walk it

Very busy paired up with another party grand. Starter very helpful. Pace off play too slow competition on which might explain the pace. 5 1/2 hours

Beautiful course in Good condition overall. La-Manga club is superb. Smashing lunch on the terrace after the game. Excellent food.

played off forward tees to make it more fun. You get paired off to make a fourball, our partners paul and Gaynor were great. Tee sign on and buggy pick up well organised. Fairways and rough good, bunkers a bit wet due to heavy rain day before, some pitchmarks on greens, I guess tourists fail to fix them! Practice facilities excellent

The more playable of the 3 courses with wide fairways. Greens were very good. Some very pretty par 3's. Very underrated.

Only negative for first time we had to start on 10th . It is a very good course with some shorter par 4s teachable in two .There is also a couple of difficult par threes .Very enjoyable course to play , probably the one course out of the three you can score on .

After the terrible weather for some weeks the course was very good.

This is the easiest of the 3 courses at La Manga and - but is still quite long and with significant carries over ravines (barrancas)and water on a number of holes - not for the faint hearted or beginners ! Greens, unfortunately reflect the volume of play and also that many players don't fix their pitch marks !

Work needed worst of the 3

I love the walking with Golf but this is a big course (9 miles) and we were glad we'd booked Buggies in advance (although they're expensive). The layout between tees seemed a bit haphazard with some log distances between Tees. The course itself was really nice but with an intimidating drive off the first tee over a ravine! :-)

Lots of pitchmarks on all the greens and the greens were slow pace. We had to start from the10tee behind a large group of ladies. Very slow 5.5hr round, glad we had buggies.

Easier than south just as much fun the but finding the next tee was not straight forward poor signage luckily played with to regulars .water guys on course.had shot gun start tee up tenth .4hour round with no hold ups great course

Great course in excellent condition perfect for all handicaps we had a buggy on our rounds which was perfect in nearly 100 degree heat, food in the clubhouse was okay not super but certainly okay after 18 holes all round 10 out of 10 i would say

For me as a 2 year golfer found some holes long so couldn't score well but not too concerned really as it was a lovely course with drinks and sandwich buggies around offering refreshments at all times. Not much water on this course but plenty of bunkers

Well kept golf course

We had 2 very good rounds , but the gullies / ravines did make it difficult-especially for our 2 lady golfers to carry many of the distances . We did not think the signage between Greens and the next tees was good enough .Several times we just did not see the signs , they were too small , or non existent .

I would say the north is easier than the west but harder than the south. Was a lovely course greens we in good condition but a little slow. Bunkers on all courses get soaked by the sprinklers in the evening so play quite wet during the day

An absolutely gem of a course. My favourite to play out the 3. Suited my game. The fairways and greens where immaculate. It was not overcrowded and we got round nicely. A course any golfer will enjoy

Despite my worst score this is the easier course as it is shorter with a little less water but plenty of ‘ barancas’. Quietest I have ever seen it when we played- 9.30 on a Friday morning- got round in record time. You often play back nine 1st here for some reason.

I enjoyed this course the most. It had a good degree of variation and interesting holes, but very playable. The greens were slightly worse than the other two courses but still pretty good for this time of year

The expectation is that this is a 4h 30min round on a course that should take 3h 30 min max. Our tenth tee time was 2h 15 min after our tee off. Far too slow

A good course but a few problems with the greens

By far the easiest of the 3 courses, although the very high winds on the day made it difficult to judge whether this was easy or average. I would guess the wind cost us all a handful of shots or more which would have had me below handicap, so maybe on the easy side. IN general the course was in good condition, the greens felt hard, but relatively slow which made it difficult to get a read on. Quite short, but a good course for the first round of the week. Not busy at all, and despite not a course where buggies are mandatory, our 4 ball in buggies did not have to wait on more than 3-4 tees for the group in front, and even then it was only 2-3 minutes. Speed wise, couldnt have been much better.

Great course - green not in great condition, lots of spike marks but a course in good condition and suited all handicaps in our group (12-24)

Different from the south course with approach shots requiring more thought but the fairways were just as good. Enjoyed the round.

Best course of the three for me although probably easier than the West. As on the South course there was a lot of pitch mark damage on the greens.

First out meant we went round in under 4 hours. Nice course, lots of water but playable. Greens ok but again too many pitch marks creating deviation on key short puts. I guess all these courses are over played and this does compromise their quality. Fairways and tees excellent but overall they are not world class. It was my best round 37 pts so it was my favourite of the 3. Overall it’s what you might expect from a village complex I would give it a memorable 8/10 thanks to all the staff and your golf travel for organising our 2018 Heavy Tour. Cheers Peter

This is also an excellent course , it is a course which you can play well on as it is more forgiving than South and West . Saying that there is also some very difficult holes but it is not as long as south .Still a lot of water and again some holes that you won’t forget .

Greens were disappointing with lots of marks and bumps

This course is nice. A lot of walking from some whole but with a buggy it wasn’t a problem. The greens are the same as The South course but as I said. It was a minor. I just enjoyed the whole experience and trip. I would definitely take my boys back here again in a heartbeat.

Nice course but very slow and overplayed, the greens were in good considering the amount of use, lots of foot and pitch marks.

Challenging but interesting.

most of our golfers preferred this course rather than the south as it is easier and more enjoyable. we played a two ball scramble on this course and it was great fun. A few of the greens were patchy due to thatch but it was in good condition overall.

We played late in the day so the greens were quite worn with the number of players that had been through them. I had forgotten how hilly the course was and would definitely book a buggy next time.

Well layed out course although you do seem to cross the road a few too many times. Course was a good challenge and in good condition, drink service on course was almost non existant.

Very similar to South course and least difficult of the three ,Had best game on this course but again the greens were a bit disappointing
