From the moment we walked in to the Hotel and meet the staff, we experienced good service from all the staff and it was all the time.

The quality of the staff at this hotel made it a particularly enjoyable stay- preparing special dishes was not an issue- eg, vegetarian paella was requested in advance , and duly arrived for dinner- lovely service!

Great hotel. Poor access to golf bar for disabled people

I cannot speak highly enough about this hotel, it was incredible. There was a great selection of breakfast available. The facilities including the padel courts, pools and spa were great. The staff looked after us throughout our stay and provided us with anything that we needed. We chose to eat at local restaurants in the evening which were a short 10 minute drive away from the resort.

Good location with easy access to Puerto Banus and Marbella. Shuttle bus needs booked beforehand. Last return to the hotel is too early. A later shuttle would have obviated the need to book taxis back in the evening. The hotel is lovely- excellent accommodation and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was good quality. Otherwise the food at the clubhouse was poor, lacked variety and was expensive.

This is a high quality hotel we really enjoyed the hotel & golf, we came last year as well. We were disappointed with the breakfast this year as was cold, in fact stone cold one of the days. The facilities are great, golf is great, staff are great. Just need to address the fact food was cold.

The hotel was amazing, breakfast was included and plenty to chose from including CAVA!. Nothing like sitting outside to eat in beautiful surroundings. The staff here are amazing, so helpful and caring, incredibly attentive. They work so hard. Its a quiet hotel and we felt so relaxed whilst the boys played golf. Rooms are a great size and the beds are so comfortable and large. Slippers and dressing gowns supplied, Hair dryer and toiletries. The hotel is spotless, 15 minutes taxi to town. Towels supplied around the pool are beautifully fluffy and clean, this is our second visit and will hope to return next year, its a must for golfers taking their wives! There was plenty of sunbeds, we visited in June. Unlike other golf hotels this was very peaceful, although larger golf groups were there, there was a respectful atmosphere and even some children around the pool in the day. This hotel lives up to its 5 star rating!

Have stayed here about 20 times so it is very good and perfect for our group of 4. Beds were very comfortable and rooms a good size. About 45 minutes from airport. Breakfast buffet was very good, lots of choice.

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Westin La Quinta. The staff were faultless as were most aspects of the hotel. We were, however a little disappointed that our room was above the main entrance to the hotel and was noisy when sitting on the terrace. We also felt that the bathroom and wardrobes were a little tired.

Large comfortable rooms, breakfast was good but not very warm. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very helpful at all times and also took the stress out of our flight cancellation by being very flexible

Excellent hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. Everything was perfect with regards to the rooms and the look of the hotel. However, the menu for lunch and bar snacks was extremely limited, expensive for what you got and not great. Really disappointed that we were put off having lunch there because of this. I would have given this hotel 5 stars if that could be improved. Also, the pool bar only opened around midday which is too late if you want to be by the pool and the pool also only allowed access from 10.00 am which was a shame as this wasted time for guests who want to go down to the pool early in the morning and make the most of the sunshine - I have never come across this before and although they said it was because they needed a lifeguard present, I would have thought they could have hired a lifeguard from at least 8.30/9.00 or had a sign saying before that time, bathers were there at their own risk. Unusual for a hotel of this quality. But couldn't fault the staff in terms of friendliness and professionalism. Would def go back.

Simply put…amazing!

Fantastic accommodation, with the ease of 27 holes attached to the property. Breakfast is great and the staff very accommodating. Would return again no question!

The hotel quality in general, and the rooms, are excellent, and represent good value. However, if you dine in the evening a La carte, expect your bill to be close to €100 per person with drinks, as unfortunately the club house stops serving meals at 6-30pm. We were last here 6 years ago, since which time the drinks seem to have become extremely expensive, which resulted in our spend as a group being quite steep.

Cracking hotel, everything you need

I think this hotel does everything it’s meant to. Lovely rooms, great breakfast, nice bar, great friendly staff, lovely pool area. The golf course is about 3 minutes walk so very convenient. Only downside is that you really need to get a taxi if you want to get to Benahavís or to the beach.

Lovely big room and hotel was really nice with excellent staff. Prices aren't the cheapest but that is only to be expected at a Marbella 5 star.

Excellent accommodation, large rooms and great golf.

Lovely hotel. Room, food and alcohol selection were 5 star. The only thing I could slightly criticise were the doors on the bedrooms were very creaky which wakes you up as it’s pretty much all of them and, the bar service around the pool and Sunday restaurant could be more attentive. Other than that, it was faultless!

This is our second visit and we have been looked after both times extremely well. All staff have a smile on their face and are extremely helpful.

Could not use the club house after golf one day as they hired it out to a wedding. the 19th hole is essential and no where else local.

Fantastic hotel with great atmosphere. Very clean, very airy, feels new (although I dont think it is). Lovely big rooms and bathrooms. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Food is great especially the buffet breakfast. Great facilities too (gym, spa, pool, padel). Highly reccomend.

Overall very goood , nice breakfast , restaurant okey , pool side nice. The hotel is a little bit of from restaurant etc but can be solvde with a taxi .

Our over all stay was excellent, staff were very friendly and service was brilliant. If I have one complaint it would be that, despite the hotel being fairly empty, our room position and view was onto a main road

Hotel is great. Good clubhouse and restaurant for eating. A bit on the expensive side but not ridiculous. Nice location and close to Porto Banus if you fancy getting outside the complex

The standard of service was fantastic from all the staff from the waiters, bar staff, course Marshalls, pro shop, reception and cleaners, all very polite and helpful. The rooms are large and fitted out well.

Our party of 8 all rated the accommodation excellent and definitely worth the money.

Great hotel albeit slightly remote in terms of benefiting from other bars etc in Marbella. Website suggests they run a free shuttle bus but this is only in the summer months it would appear.

Staff and rooms are fantastic, breakfast excellent. Spa could do with an update, steam room not working during our stay. But overall a very good hotel.

Very happy with every aspect of our stay,, 1 query iv,e got been charged £13.11 for what i do not know as i used cash the whole stay,???

1st class experience at this hotel. The staff were excellent as were the facilities. Strolling distance from the hotel to the Golf Clubhouse and access to the three courses. Breakfast was the usual Euro/Brit buffet with all the regular suspects. Delightful staff and good quality. We did not use the hotel for dinner as we ventured out to Marbella Old Town on the courtesy bus (book at reception). The evening bar was quite quiet but great to finish the evening with appropriate chilled beer or two !

The hotel/complex is of the highest standard and the staff couldn't do enough to make our stay as perfect as possible.

This is an excellent resort and only 10 minutes form Puerto Banus. The hotel is spotless and the courses were all in great condition when we played. A beer buggy would enhance the experience!

First time at Westin La Quinta. Fantastic hotel. Very clean, very spacious rooms. Lovely location in the hills but only 8 min drive to the beach. Pool area is lovely, restaurants very good and breakfast fantastic. 15 min drive into Puerto Banus and 20 to Marbella. Local shop and bar/restaurants 3 min drive up the hill. Staff were great. Highly reccomend

We had a twin room, with 2 small double beds, which was perfect and twin basins in the bathroom, with a shower, bath, bidet and toilet. Only complaint, only one plug point near a mirrror!

Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Surprised there were extra charges for spa and bad experience with evening meal with slow service and one meal had to be returned. Overall a delightful stay and would book again.

The hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish, we stayed here in a group of 8 for our annual golf trip and will definitely be returning. The cleanliness, facilities and service were all faultless. The Spa is also a great feature, this does come with an €18 surplus but found this to be full worth it!

Extremely helpful and accommodating staff, both in terms of the golf and our overall stay. Large rooms with a brilliant view of the golf course! Thoroughly enjoyable trip all round.

We normally travel to this hotel at September time, however due to covid restrictions over the past 20 months, this was our 4th attempt to stay here. Initially the room they gave us was on the ground floor near the entrance road, having stayed before we knew these rooms to be noisy from early and late night traffic noise. We were moved, to a different room, however not were we would have liked and the room, although we’d booked a deluxe with king bed, was ok but two separate beds and on the 1st floor, and all the way to the end of the corridor, even though we were told the hotel was only at about 50% occupancy? The room was ok, but the outside space due to heavy rain and dust storms was not useable, cushions dirty and wet with weeds growing through the tilling, it was hosed off after we mentioned it. No shuttle bus running daily into Marbella or Puerto Banus, as before. Breakfast Buffett was fine as was the service, we found however that the hotel did seem a bit tired from our last stay, probably because of covid and the running down of staff numbers? We would not visit again at this time of year, too many cheap deals going on perhaps. Probably time for a change of destination anyway.

Hotel was very good and staff were excellent. Location not fantastic as had to drive everywhere if you wanted to go out but OK. Very poor that you had to pay for use of the Spa.

Perfect bathrooms could do with a refurb but otherwise spot on

The hotel is comfortable, spacious and quiet with a comfortable bed. It has a spa which is not included in the price of the stay and incurs an eu18 charge any time you use it as one cannot relax in it without paying the charge. The hotel is located up on the side of the hill, 10 mins taxi journey from bars and restaurants. It is too steep to walk down and back and would probably take close to an hour to do so.

Superb stay from start to finish. Highly recommended. We were unanimous in our desire to come back again.

We had the most amazing 5 day holiday with four rounds of golf, although we did pay for an extra day too! The courses were challenging and fun - plenty of variety and the greens very tricky - for us!!! From arrival to departure the friendliest staff were always on hand to help. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the hygiene was second to none. Due to covid there was a strict policy for wearing a mask when walking around hotel The breakfast was amazing offering a huge choice and variety and evening meal great value too. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday and the only extra thing I would have liked was a heated pool although the traditional spa with its thermal pool, sauna, steam, treatments etc was a bonus!

Excellent hotel. Very relaxing, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was first class and a brilliant start to my day. Location is a little remote but only a 10 euro taxi journey to Puerto Banus for example. 45 mins from Malaga airport so that's not too bad either. All of the staff were fantastic and very pleasant apart from one lady in the pro-shop who seemed to not like her job very much and was a bit abrupt with myself and the rest of my party on separate occasions. She has been there 10 years and was maybe just having a rough few days..

A really great Hotel. Staff were always helpful & courteous, something which isn't always a given in Spain. The rooms were as large as you're likely to get anywhere and with a decent balcony. The pool was large with plenty of sun beds. While the lunch time snacks were generous and tasty, we felt the standard of evening meal not quite as good but more than acceptable.

Nice hotel. Nice staff. Would not quite call it a 5 star, but certainly a 4 star. Was disappointed that they can offer only bottled water. Any club house that states it only has bottled water i feel is pretentious/stuffy and clearly puts £££ before guests. Evening restaurant menu was very sparse and lacked options. Overall positive but a few small principled lets downs.

We stayed at Hotel for 1 week and had 3 games of golf booked through Your Golf Travel. Arriving at hotel was very welcoming . All of the staff in hotel were very friendly and helpful too. Overall our holiday experience was 1st class. The set up for the golf was superb and courses were very enjoyable. Thank you to All staff at Weston La Quinta. And the staff at Your Golf Travel for recommendation of this hotel and the good service of booking everything for us.

We were allocated a room furthest away and overlooking the road. That was at the time when the hotel was nearly empty (I don't think there where more than 30 guests in the entire hotel). A few disappointments at the Clubhouse bar and the dining / breakfast room very sterile (ok for breakfast) but not atmosphere in the evening.

The Westin La Quinta is a fantastic resort, this particular trip for us was a couples trip with the boys playing golf and the girls relaxing. The resort was perfect for a couples group as it catered for everyone's needs. Quote my wife "this is the nicest break we've ever had". That gets a thumbs up from me!

Great stay at Westin La Quinta. Hotel modern and very spacious in all areas. Only comment would be that pool area can become quite busy as not the largest area. All staff were very professional, friendly and accommodating to all requests. Great stay!

Good standard of hotel if not a little expensive (food &drink) However enjoyed our stay playing the x3 golf courses there, each course was presented beautifully with immaculate fairways and views across the landscape definitely recommended. Transfers to and from the resort were 5 star

I have travelled to so many hotels to play golf all over the world I have to say that the Westin is one one the best because it has everything You don’t have to travel to play golf. The 3 x 9 holes are all great and the location is perfect

Large rooms with high standard and very comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I've had (and I've had many!). The Resort has a very high general standard with very friendly and helpful staff

Renovated large rooms but you can feel that it was a soft renovation. Nice breakfast and very friendly staff.

Accommodation was perfect for what was needed, facilities were excellent and rooms of a high standard. Cleaned, towels refreshed and beds changed daily. Food in the club house was of a highest standard and excellent value for money. However only small negative was that the drinks prices were way above average even for Marbella. Staff at the resort were hugely atttentative and helpful and were always willing to go above and beyond. Resort location was OK, and only a small taxi fare into the centre of Banus for those who wanted to sample the nightlife.

Some fairways were a bit difficult, but it is a quiet nice course. We could only play A and C, but it would have been nice to play also B, but it was closed. We like Costa del Sol and maybe we will come back sometimes. Thanks very much for good service from Your Golf Travel.

We enjoyed this course. Three 9s and we played A and C. The staff were friendly and, owing to the weather forecast, we were one of the few sets of golfers on the course. But we largely dodged the rain until the 15th when we stopped - the last hole on the C course looks a real challenge with the carry across the water. We look forward to returning - a great course. (A is regarded as more forgiving, B has more water, C is narrower).

Greens too fast for a resort course.

Disappointed that we did not get to play the ‘C’ course in the three days we had requested to golf. However, we did mention this to one of the Course Marshall's and he fitted us in on the course which was busy so we paid for an extra round. We were very appreciative.

Sadly we didn't have time for one of our 4 balls to finish as our pick up had arrived & couldn't wait. On reflection we were not given enough time to play here in the morning and move on to the next game at Atalaya

Lots of water, hills and bunkers but overall fairways were beautifully kept. The greens were great on our first day but lots of groups playing during the week meant they were badly marked by day three. Overall course A and B were less difficult than C which is very hilly and better to use a buggy.

The staff helped us deal with my mobility issues, picking us up from the hotel car park in a buggy , for example. The 3 courses differed regarding difficulty A & B most enjoyable, C was most difficult

The 3 different 9 hole courses were in great condition. They had different features including slopes, water, tight fairways and quick greens. The course was in fantastic coniditon and the marshalls ensure that the pace of play is good. I would note that it was a challenging course with narrow fairways. If you are a high handicap then pack lots of balls.

Well kept course- could play a variety of combinations of 9 holes. Buggies were included in the booking and price. Staff were generally helpful but the starter was quite unpleasant on the first day.

No Sat nav in buggies , there is water on the course not very cold but purified so drinkable . Course is ok and would play again

27 very good holes, some of the greens could have been better kept considering it was only a month past course maintenance, but still very good. The course was very quiet and allowed for good movement. Played there last year and would definitely play there again in the future.

Loved it apart from losing 2-1 in the series to my son who had his 30th birthday on this course. Lovely staff

Arguably the groups favourite course of the trip. Staff were super welcoming and knew it was us the minute we walked in. The course was immaculate and had a variety of challenging and picturesque holes. Facilities and specifically ‘Horo 19’ was great to watch people attack the short par 4. Best course of the trip 9.5/10 experience.

Course was wider but more bunkers and water but really enjoyable. We were able to have 2 three balls by paying for the extra buggy. Staff were friendly and good was good. We played A & C.

There are 3 sets of 9 holes, we played 3 days so we’re able to play all combinations. Nice variety of tight tree lined holes and one set of 9 was wider. Just enough water to make it interesting, greens like lightening. None of the 9s are particularly long but it’s all about position off the tee and the hole positions. In great condition, particularly as a resort course with a lot of play. We enjoyed it and will be back.

Very enjoyable.

We had the course on a rainy day but the holes and course layout were good, some really nice par 3s. The greens were in good condition, but the fringe was pretty terrible, lots of tufts of longer grass making longer putting and chipping around the green particularly frustrating. The reception from the staff was not particularly friendly and the general grounds didn't provide the WOW factor that other courses do. The food in the clubhouse was good.

It’s looks like they lost fairways over a dry winter and have had heavy rain recently so fairways were muddy and bare but greens excellent and fast. It’s all very tight and not many drivers needed ! Not my cup of tea but it was OK for a change. I wouldn’t play there again

Recent weather and overuse in summer made the course much worse than usual.

Lovely course, just a pity there was not access permitted to the driving range due to the weather although the course was open for the week we were there.

Greens and fairways not the best of condition, Many scuffs and divots left on the greens, why don’t people take more care.

Unfortunately the weather this year has taken its toll on the course. Fairways quite bare in places and grass cut very short. Greens not as good as they usually are. We would still return again as it’s not their fault and hopefully a one off. Staff are very good and try to accommodate any needs you have.

We enjoyed the courses. Any lack of condition was due to lack of rainfall which could not be helped.

Course A and C were very good. Course B the holes were not as good. The condition of the course was not great but ultimately it was a lack of respect shown by others, bunkers not raked and so many pitch marks not repaired.

Courses were generally in good condition and being cared for by green staff. Some of the fairways were a little bare but you could still get an iron to the ball, bit more difficult with fairway woods. Managed to get a hole in one on Course C hole 6; so very pleased.

A great golf course, some stunning holes.

Some of the fairways & greens were in need of repair & watering. Course C was the most difficult, but all 3 courses were different & challenging & picturesque. The only issues were in the pro shop, where service was very slow. I stood in a queue for 20 mins to get my score cards & chatty to get the buggy, then another 10 mins waiting for a key for the buggy, causing us to miss our tee time. Please allow at least 45 minutes. Staff very pleasant but not overly helpful or informative. We played 3 consecutive days and only saw the golf drinks cart once on the first day.

Signage from hole to hole A B & C was confusing,particulary when changing from B to A. A satnav would have been useful!!

Course in good condition, would be tough driving course for average golfer off whites

In chatting with the Pro Shop there are issues with water quality and amount of water on some of the courses in Costa De Sol. Whilst the course was still ok ish to play - and I guess scortched by hot summer - the condition as way below what we expected and would certainly put us off booking Costa De Sol again until resolved. I think YTG need to review the situation as was a big surprise when we arrived. I tried to negotiate cheaper for buggy hire at La Qunita but they said course was in the good condition !

Typical resort course. Not overly long. More target golf but pretty holes. B course closed for a day. Tournament on A and C but didn’t disrupt our rounds. Marshall’s and staff very friendly.

The course is a three nine hole course. Unfortunately we arrived when the courses A & C had recently had its course maintenance so the fairways were very sandy but the greens were true and in good condition with little sign of the recent hollow tining. After having to get in contact with YGT we were allowed one round on the B course. It had been hollow tined on the greens and fairways in the previous days. Had this been in good condition it would had been the best nine holes of them all. In tip top condition this would have been a fantastic course. I would advise you to double check course maintenance times before you leave so you can change your courses if needed. As this did leave a sour taste with us.

Nice courses. A bonus that there were 3 x 9 hole courses, meaning we weren’t playing the same 18-holes for the second round.

Played A and B twice unfortunately C closed at the time but the courses played in great condition. Very helpful in the clubhouse too.

Very interesting course with some challenging, sloping fairways

3 loops of 9 were all excellent, with challenging layouts for golfers of all levels, and superb and fast greens. The staff or the pro shop and the starters on the courses were all supremely helpful and excellent. The only slight grumble is if you decide to play any extra rounds, the cost seems slightly excessive (€125 per person with buggy) given we were staying here for 4 days, and for the most part the courses were pretty quiet earlier or later in the day.

I think the courses have been set up very well. They are generally designed to keep the ball in play but the hazards are plenty. Great conditions on fairways, bunkers and greens. 3 courses of 9 holes allows the club to separate 2 balls and 4 balls so pace of play was great. I really enjoyed the experience (and this was my second visit)

La Quinta was amazing from start to finish. Fantastic facilities, vane and restaurant. Staff are super super friendly. We each had 30 balls free for the range and they let us tee off earlier as well. Course is beautiful. Absolutely stunning. Fairly undulated and greens are quick but the condition was superb. I’d highly highly recommend this course. We play off approx 20 handicap.

Friendly staff in clubhouse and general organisation excellent. Limited driving range but good practice putting green. The 27 hole layout allows for enough variety over multiple rounds. I would definitely visit again.

Such a unique course with every hole having its own unique touch to separate it from others, a combination of short and long holes with the difficulty ranging from easy to hard

Very good condition and a fabulous location.

Courses were better than 10 years ago when we last played there. Greens were super fast. Your agent should have made it clear that we couldn’t book 2 x 3 balls - each day we had to negotiate as they had us booked as a 4 ball and a 2 ball. Plus we had to pay locally for an extra buggy.

Very nice courses, tight but manageable. My only criticism was that some people were playing metal spikes which left the soft greens rather chopped up, need to ban those now.

Wonderful golf course, we played A+C, 3 very steep incline holes but overall beautiful. Excellent facilities and great staff. Great condition overall.

Unable to play all 3 9 holes over two days - repeated the same two 9 holes on both days which was a shame.

Golf course always in good condition. The marshals also did their very best to make sure I had a good round as I was playing alone. Even coming to find me in the course to let me know the switch course so that I wouldn’t be held up.

A good course. Well designed and in good condition. We enjoyed playing this course was a good steady choice as apart of a four day golf tour.

Course C was very good but had to drunken 4 balls in front and played 2 holes in 40 mins !! Back nine had to come off because of Lighting and greens were unplayable !! Staff not happy to offer any help !!!!

Missed the first days golf as the Your Golf Travel pre arranged transfer left befotre we cleared the very long ques at airport customs.

3 sets of 9 is ideal for a long weekend. Variation but also get used to the course. Lovely course with lots of great holes. Plenty of space (not too many houses, roads, other holes) so not too intimidating. Quick greens! Lots of variation. Whole course in very good condition. Staff at the shop and out on the course are helpful and friendly. Only thing to improve is practise facilities but most golf trips dont require this. The bar and clubhouse which is way more important is spot on!!

The only I would say against the course was greens far to fast and edges of green could be trimmed a little but overall all good

The course is inbetween averag and hard depending of were they put the pin. It was a bit to hard for the lady´s in our company when it´s a lot of water nerby the tee´s.

An interesting course which has three nine-hole courses and players are allocated their courses on the day. We got Campos A & B on the first day. We weren’t too keen on A, with all of us marking it fourth out of the six courses we played, but B was good fun and a little less challenging. The clubhouse was a pleasant place to sit, and food and drink was good with prices as expected. We thought the buggies were a bit expensive at €44 each but, again, we were glad of them as there were some fairly steep hills. We played again later in the week, on Campos C & B this time. We enjoyed this more than the first time, with C having wide fairways and some long holes so we all played pretty well and Campo B was a nice way to finish, with a shot over the pond to keep the interest up to the end. If we were to play La Quinta again, we’d probably ask to skip Campo A.

The golf courses were superb in layout and condition. Practice facilities were good and staff very helpful. It was a delight to experience and play in such lovely surroundings. If I have one complaint it would be that we were paired up with other players and weren't warned about this in advance.

Great courses.

Very well managed course. Nice team in the pro shop who was very happy to move a couple of tee times which was better for us, particularly as we was playing two rounds per day. We played 5 rounds as a three ball and only got held up once for 1 minute. Friendly course marshals continually drive around which keeps everything running smoothly. The halfway hut offers a good selection of drinks and snacks at reasonable prices. Good mix of holes which were challenging and rewarded good shots, punished you for poor shots without losing your ball unless you really way off the line. Tees, fairways and greens all in good condition. We used electricity trolley at €22 per round which we enjoyed more than using buggies aas we like to walk courses.

3 good loops of 9 to mix things up each day. Some challenging holes but nothing overwhelming. Tough scoring but good shots are rewarded. The greens need some TLC as there’s a fair fee that we’re patchy but ran fast so not all bad. Lots of pitch marks so we could all do our bit to contribute.

With the 3 x 9 holes layout it was nice to mix and match the rounds each day to keep it interesting. Each course was hard but not impossible to play and the fairways and greens kept in very good condition.

All courses were in very good condition, our party had handicaps ranging from 4 - 18 and everyone commented on the difficulty getting out of the grass off the fairway and around the green. Bump n run shots were very hard to do. If you went off the fairway and into the semi you would only see the top of the ball as it had sunk 2 inches. Otherwise excellent!

Difficulty will depend massively on which loops you play and how the tees are set up. For example, we played the C loop as our back nine and faced a 180m carry over water on the first par 3 as the yellow tees had been placed alongside the whites. A daunting task for the high handicappers. When we played two days later the C was our front nine and the tees had been brought forward by 15 meters.

Nice course but very slow round

Each of the three nines had a different personality. We’ll maintained with some great features.

Played twice. They have 3 nine hole courses and you play a combination of 2 of these for your round. Courses A&B were pretty good, with well tended greens and even tees. But course C needs attention, especially the greens which were pitted and had dry grassless patches on them. Unfortunately you don’t get to choose which combo you play, that’s up to the starter.

Playing the three 9 hole courses in different combinations was great fun. We played each 9 two times in our three rounds. Buggies are essential for my aging bones and they were included in our package. My pals and I are medium/high handicappers 17-22 so we found the courses challenging but not too intimidating. There were a couple of ropey greens on the 'A' course but this didn't distract from overall quality of the experience. The three different courses at the resort offered different challenges and the mixing of the courses on each day was good. I would definitely recommend La Quinta in fact we plan to visit again next year!

Staff all really friendly and helpful

The 3 different 9 holes were all in fabulous condition and each varied slightly in layout and how you had to course manage your round. We would highly recommend you play course B to test skill levels.

Golf was excellent, combination of the 9 holes made for an interesting 4 rounds in 4 days. Real mix of holes with different challenges. Let down as no drinks buggy, but stocked up at half way house so not to much of an issue.

Some very nice holes indeed! A little tight in places and if your left or right on some, you could be right in the sh@t! In my opinion, this resort, course and location beats La Cala.

3 sets of 9 holes is perfect for a golf trip. Variety plus you get to know the course. Stay and play deal was great value. 40euros for a buggy without gps is maybe on the high side? Challenging course but not too hard. Not a long course from yellows so playable for all abilities. Greens in good condition. Great staff, very helpful. Lovely clubhouse restaurant. Range is average (small, only irons allowed, mats not grass when we were there) and small practice green. No chipping area. But absolutely not a problem. Loved it.

Lots of water to deal with and quite a few lost balls! We pretty much played without seeing anyone, but we played early in the day when it was quiet. This was our first time abroad playing golf so it was all very new, but everything ran like clockwork from being collected from the airport to being returned to the airport.

Loved the courses, plenty of variety, fast greens, no waiting, very well organised, and beautiful scenery.

Enjoyed every minute of it.

tee boxes,poorly maintained greens were fast and well maintained, pathways from tee to greens need a little work. Otherwise the courses A B&C were very good . Saying that we may have arrived just as green keeping and course maintenance started for the season so expecting a course to be in pristine condition this early in the year (April) may be un reasonable.

The golf was brilliant all around and the courses were in excellent condition. My only gripe would be that on one of the courses the tee boxes were not in great condition and not flat either.

We definitely prefer going during the autumn months, this time of year on these courses it’s not so great. There are a lot of golf groups and play is quite slow. The golf course workers are the best, nothing too much trouble for them and all very friendly. I golfed earlier in February in the Alicante area, the courses were in good shape and play wasn’t slow, the price was a lot less also!

Good courses and greens in pretty good order considering we had pretty bad weather. Very disappointed that with 2 out of 4 days golf cancelled, due to the course being closed for rain, there was no refund, other courses close by remained open. They did offer a "Spa Day" ,as an alternative, which was pretty poor.

The course is well presented and the greens are in very good condition. The practice facilities were closed due to the weather as they are not under cover. We had 3 buggies booked each day but didn’t use them all due to the wet weather and the buggy’s were not allowed off the path. Unfortunately there was a problem gaining credit for the unused buggies and there should be some sort of system for doing so as on the last day we were told the buggy is eu25 for 9 holes. We would consider returning but we would have to be assured that’s wouldn’t be repeated next time.

Thoroughly enjoyed my 4 rounds at La Quinta this late October. The greens were ultra soft leading to some awful pitch marks that, unfortunately, some golfers did not properly repair. Some of the tees were a little ragged but I assume this is due to the time of year. Those two points said, the course in general was in excellent condition, and the grounds keepers deserve a lot of credit. The practice facilities are as good as they can be however the practice greens are a little small and the practice range is too short meaning you are not able to practice longer irons, hybrids or woods. A welcome positive however is that range balls are free !

The 3 nines here were more than acceptable but not in the class of some of the better courses in Spain or Portugal. The condition was pretty decent and the pin and tee positions seemed to be changed every day. greens rolled nicely and were a decent pace.

Nice course, 3- 9 hole combinations to play. A few hills but a few people did use trolleys so more walkable if you want. Still fairly slow. Staff friendly. Clubhouse food and drink excellent.

Three 9 hole courses well managed by Marshalls who politely kept us moving. Interesting holes, well kept greens of average speed, some great water features. Tricky Par 3s which made it fun! Very playable and enjoyable.

Course was enjoyable and in good condition however outside of our deal we inquired about 9 holes later one day after we had already played, teeing off around 5.30pm and the cost was €55. I consider this to be a rip off for 9 holes on a twilight rate on a nice but not fantastic course. The greens are well kept but they are not reflective of the price.

La Quinta is always a good choice, although the green speed was slow the condition is always good depending on usage. Facilities

Just a regular course amongst a load of more attractive courses.

The greens were SO difficult. Pins in near impossible places to get at. Overall, too fast, at times it was crazy putting. We sat at side of 9th green, C course, for an hour. Not 1 golfer managed to even 3 putt.

overall the courses were well maintained. disappointing that the Hole 19 / Halfway House was not open the entire week. Driving range insufficient in terms of length and visual aspect. When you play these three tight courses, you will want to practice with your woods before teeing off.

Excellent course, very high standard

Another of our Favourite courses , just a fantastic golf course , I play off a 27 Handicap and still enjoyed the experience of La Quinta, will be on our short list for next year.

We played the A&B courses, La Quinta was ideal to play for our tour as it is close to the H10 Hotel. All our party enjoyed the course although some found it a little hard. I would recommend playing this course as they know how to treat golfing groups and the condition is good. Beware of bar/food costs as these can be expensive.

The courses were in good condition, the A, B & C courses are all unique in their own way and we couldn't pick a favoured one. We were unfortunate on 2 of our 3 rounds to be behind very slow groups, we were in no rush but it does become a bit tedious. The only critique would be that apart from a half way house there were no refreshments on the course, it would benefit from a refreshments buggy on the course. The lady (I think her name is Linda) in the golf shop is superb and very accommodating, we requested a different combination of the three 9's on our last day and nothing was a problem, she was always happy to help. The golf staff on the whole were superb.

Great time playing at Westin La Quinta. 8 of us played all 3 loops of 9 holes across 3 days. Courses A/C on day one, C/A on day two and C/B on day three. The pro shop staff and Marshalls were excellent, always had a smile on there faces and had everything ready for us each day. Greens on all 3 courses were in great condition, being very receptive even mid afternoon and consistent as far as speed is concerned - all quite tricky to read with some very fast downhill putts if you get yourself the wrong side of the pin! Play was a little slow on day 3 (5 hours) as the course was very busy with a view higher handicap groups in front of us, but when you have the sunshine and a great course to play there really isn't too much of a problem with that! Highly recommended for a 2 or 3 day golf break or to take in as part of a longer break playing in the area.

3 lovely 9 hole loops they mix and match each day. All very interesting and very different, try and play all 3 on first 2 days so you know your favourites for day 3 onwards.

The fairways were good standard well manicured and kept. The greens were very soft and easily damaged. (Typical of most Spanish greens which are well watered) ? But overall good.

Great course but no buggies when we booked them. Took 30mins to get them

There are three courses each of nine holes. Unfortunately the score card was very confusing. As we were playing B&A and the layout on the score card did not have B&A. Printed in that way. Took at least six holes to work it out!!

Greens not great fairways very wet following overnight sprinkling essential i know. Planted areas and bunkers very well kept

The golf is very well run at La Quinta. For my group of 28, everything was seamless, very efficient, and the variety of the 3 loops of 9 works well, and most importantly, the service in the bar/restaurant afterwards is first class! :)

A real gem - 3 links of 9. We played A&B. Some lovely holes which you have to plot your way round a bit, don’t automatically pull the driver. A warm welcome on arrival and set next door to the Westin hotel so if you want to stay on a course, a good option. Beautiful rolling fairways and varied holes. Would definitely play again.

Played twice .Course C was closed on the second occasion for maintenance. The second round was slow but the marshal apologised. Great set up overall.

Beautiful courses with fantastic views. Greens very fast on two days but after overnight rain they were much easier to read on third day. Staff were brilliant looking after us - storing our clubs overnight with trolleys etc ready for us next morning. They also checked on course itself to make sure all was well or if we needed anything. First class.

Loved the course and especially the greens, which were suprisingly quick and true. The 3 nines each had their own character but were all interesting to play. I think we found "C" the most challenging.

Very hilly, many elevated greens, many narrow holes. The greens was very good - soft with just the right speeds , but the fairways and tees could be better

The course was very busy but well organized. Free balls on the driving range which is small but ok. A stroke saver will save some strokes for sure. All 3 courses are challenging the C course was our favourite

Course was the most affected by the weather bunkers were unplayable but despite this our favourite course the holes are all different. Drinks expensive in bar.

We arrived at La Quinta following torrential rain and flash flooding on the Costa Del Sol. This resulted in our first round being delayed and one of the loops of the course closed for the first 3 days. This was understandably out of the staffs hands but they did everything in their power to accommodate us and get us playing as much golf as possible. The course was quite obviously damaged due to the adverse weather and bunkers pretty much unplayable, landslides had occurred on different areas and a lot of standing water on the course. To reiterate this was not a negative of the resort just unfortunate circumstances of events and I will definitely be returning earlier in the year to see the course in its full glory. As I can imagine it would be perfect. In all a great resort for golfers of all standards, those with shots can score well, and those with a lower handicap Know they have played well if they walk off hitting their handicap. Holes are picturesque with some great views.

This was undoubtedly the best of the 4 courses we played and in the best condition -- would certainly play again. Well looked after in the bar.

Three 9 hole courses played as a loop of either a+b/ a+c/ b+c ; it is a hard course but an enjoyable experience and for all handicaps.
