Michlifen Golf Course was designed by 18-time Major Champion Jack Nicklaus. Nicklaus' designs have been enjoyed across the globe with many stand out designs enjoyed across almost every continent of the world. Jack's work at Michlifen Golf and Country Club has seen him utilise the natural landscapes perfectly afforded by this breathtaking part of Morocco. Ifrane's natural beauty is exhibited across the entire 18 hole layout with breathtaking panoramic views, mature trees and rocky outcrops that make this course a truly unique experience.
With the course sitting at an altitude of 1650 metres, golfers playing here are sure to make adjustments for the thinner air as they take on the par-72 layout which measures over 7,300 yards off the Black Championship tee markers.
Whilst Jack Nicklaus is one who doesn't believe in having a stand out or signature hole, he has gone as far to say that the par-3 9th hole which is over 200 yards from the back tees, the shorter par-3 17th and testing finishing par-4 18th hole, with a fairway bordered by a cliff to the left of the fairway and cedar and oak trees on the right with an approach that is slightly blind to the green to challenge all up until the very last shot of the round, are those that are sure to live long in the memory for those visiting Michlifen for their next golfing holiday.
Golfers can also enjoy a wealth of world-class practice facilities pre and post-golf. The driving range has IMG Swing Analysis and Custom Fitting Studios which are great to iron out any swing flaws as well as TrackMan and SamPutt Lab facilities. There is also an excellent short game area which is well-worth visiting given the significant undulations offered on the golf course.
After your round, be sure to relax in the light and airy clubhouse which offers panoramic golf and mountain views. There are very few 19th holes that can compete with this setting.
Please note that between December and February the Golf course will be closed due to snow.
