NAU Morgado Golf & Country Club

Not a hotel as such but a number of remote blocks Rooms however were very nice

The rooms were really nice, most with lovely balcony views of the course. They were spacious with very nice shower and bathrooms. The staff were very helpful in everything both in the clubhouse and at reception. Swimming pool was nice. Practice facilities on site were excellent- driving range, chipping area and putting green. The food was perhaps not quite as good as everything else. Good food but 3 Star ‘golf club’ food in both restaurants. Everything else was 4 * 👍.

Great stay and facilities.the only downside was that we paid for an all inclusive and it is really a bed, breakfast and evening meal with drinks included from 5 pm onwards.it didn't ruin the stay but we hadn't budgeted for buying water, lunch and an occasional drink

Situated right on golf courses but nothing else there. €20 euro taxi ride to anywhere. No atmosphere in bar . Food was ok but never hot and on 2 nights a limited choice of 2 starters 2 mains and 2 deserts. Breakfast was good. Room smelt of stale water . No coffee supplied just tea and no milk. Paid extra for a premier room so I’m not sure what a basic room would be like. Would rate room as a 3 star as I have done the hotel itself

Beautiful resort would definitely return

All really enjoyed our stay here. Looked after extremely well, caring staff.

Great facilities, room superb, pool constant and safe depth, breakfast excellent choice as with dinner and house red good value and good legs

The resort is entirely geared around golf and the hotel itself lacks many of the things you take for granted in a resort with 4 stars. On arrival at 11pm, being told to make your own way to your room 400 metres away, with a suitcase + 2 golf bags in the dark over cobbles sort of sums it up. Many of the staff appeared clearly unhappy with their lot and extracting a smile was a real challenge. The rooms are great, the food is good and the courses are fantastic, so if you are going for the golf and aren't too bothered about the ancillaries, this is the place for you. However, the golf staff were worst of all. They refused to believe our buggies had been paid for and insisted on payment (YGT have reimbursed us without quibble), and needed written proof each time we played, that our deal included a bucket of balls and a free drink per round. Although we booked to play as a 2 ball (my wife is relatively new to the game and didn't need the added pressure), they paired us with 2 others for 3 of our rounds, 2 low handicap men on 2 occasions, and told us if we didn't like it we needn't play! This in spite of gaps later in the day that we would happily have taken. Great attitude!

Really nice place to stay, we were on a semi all- inclusive basis which worked well, although we have to say the beer was not the best. Overall though a very enjoyable experience

Looking a bit tired, with some structures unfinished. Room and view across golf course excellent, can't fault cleanliness and staff. Good value for what we paid.

Nice place to stay albeit a bit out of the way. Bar service was a bit slow - he just needed some help at certain times- loads of staff not doing much could easily of helped out when needed. Apart from the above all positive - courses very good and breakfast was excellent.i didn't have an evening meal apart from at the clubhouse

Beautiful setting, large rooms very well fitted out. Staff very happy and helpful, rooms kept spotless. Breakfast full on, cold meats and cheeses to full English. Omelette station, pancakes and pastries. 😋 Restaurant service great and supported by bar snacks and clubhouse menu. Definitely no complaints here, Chicken strips my favourite.

ok, location not good, a long way from other bars and restuarants

We arrived at 11pm and were presented with a food package as we had missed evening meal. Check in very easy. We felt very safe with the hotels COVID precautions. This was our third visit and definitely will not be our last

We were upgraded to a Duplex Room, which was fantastic and huge. Hotel itself, is nice and modern. The Restaurant is buffet style, but you will not be disappointed with either the choice or the quality of the food, both were excellent. Great place to stay for a golfing trip and only a 20 min taxi ride down to the town and beach.

Food very good and all staff very friendly. Was all very efficient.

Rooms were superb

Facilities and staff were excellent, diner was ok, always plenty of choice but nothing outstanding. Typical of most hotel buffet diners so no real complaints.

A country club this is not! Semi all inclusive is basic. Rooms ok but some distance from the restaurant and bar. Little in the way of what one might expect from a “country club”. Food ok but not excellent. Very limited lounging areas . Staff excellent, however. The whole place looked in need of an uplift.

Very good facilities but an on site shop would be beneficial with cash withdrawals facilities.

The staff were excellent and very friendly , food was very acceptable, the rooms were very nice. The rooms had excellent showers and bathroom facilities and the bed was large and comfortable. There was plenty of space for two people and a nice veranda overlooking the Morgado golf course.

The rooms are very nice and clean with good views over the golf course. It is secluded and quiet with no leisure facilities on site.

Fantastic hotel and golf course. The staff were very helpful and very organised.

Buffet food was good but not exceptional. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. Reception allowed us a room extension free of charge on last day. Rooms were very good with views over part of golf course.

Spacious clean accommodation, cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. Good quality and plentiful food. Staff were excellent, extremely helpful polite and cheerful

the rooms were very dull but the amenities were fine. the restaurant only did buffet which is okay but gets a bit much day after day. the clubhouse was good but did not really open in night. the pro shop was very expensive.

Very good spacious rooms

The stay was as expected and we all enjoyed it. The only possible downside was the location of our room (4402) which was a route march to the restaurant and reception. We were upstairs and therefore no balcony.

First time here very impressed loved the course will definitely come back
