Pine Cliffs is one of the world's most renowned nine-hole courses. This is largely due to the 6th hole, an awe-inspiring par-3 where golfers tee off from the edge of the cliffs above the shoreline, and are faced with a tee shot over the infamous ‘Devil's Parlour'!

The luxury 5* hotel is a fine example of traditional Portuguese architecture, with considerable Moorish influence, while inside you will find a tranquil and airy environment. The hotel has a total of 215 exquisite guest bedrooms, all fully air-conditioned, including a number of opulent suites. The rooms are decorated in a simple, elegant style, but exude pure luxury.
For a special occasion, be sure to choose one of the sea view rooms, from which you can gaze out over the Algarve's famous coastline from the idyllic cliff-top location.
The unspoiled Falésia Beach is the only one in the Algarve to be awarded the EU's Golden Flag, and is the ideal place to enjoy the region's reliable sunshine. The hotel also has 5 tennis courts, a comprehensive kids club and an excellent health and fitness club. Guests can use the sauna, jacuzzi, and the stunning outdoor swimming pools, while the Estética Spa has a fantastic range of treatments to ensure your total relaxation.
Pine Cliffs Resort has a number of excellent restaurants, but if we had to choose one, it would be O Pescador, which is widely regarded as one of Portgual's finest seafood dining rooms.
The Portulano bar is a great cocktail bar with regular live entertainment, while from the Mirador Bar you can stare over your drink and out to sea while the sun sets.
In Vilamoura, head to Casa del Forno for Italian food, or the Ostra d'Ouro Grill at the Marina for sublime seafood.

This was a very nice 5 star hotel, however the restaurants were disgustingly over priced , so we ate out when we could . Several good quality reasonable restaurants in walking distance We were shocked at checkout to find €15… a day added to account for service charge ! .Maybe we missed this in the blurb , but what was a good deal suddenly bumped the cost up considerably.

A lovely apartment in a resort which both exceeded expectations. Lots to do even if you don’t play golf with plenty of swimming pools, big kids club, easy to get around with free shuttles and easy to order a cab to eat elsewhere. Only negative was the fish restaurant on site (Pescadore) which was a total ripoff. Just outside the grounds is a traditional Portuguese restaurant which was great for fish and a fraction of the price.

My son and I stayed in a 2 bedroom garden suite which overlooked the swimming pool. The accommodation was 5* The restaurants on the large complex looked very good but I feel a 5 minute Uber showed the hotel are pricing themselves out of the market

Have booked this resort for many years through Your Golf Travel who give an excellent service. The hotel is great but we now stay in the townhouses as they are not so expensive.

This is a really nice short holiday course, the staff were exceptional. Again food overpriced The tees were in a very poor condition, looking very much as needing attention. We unfortunately encountered storm “Claudia” and course was closed for our last round - told we could rearrange, but we were due home . As we had prepaid in our price a credit for next trip would be appreciated and in good faith

The course is fine for a round off the plane and for mixed handicap groups. I think the bar/ restaurant stopped serving at 18.30. Seemed a little early considering the numbers on the course.

On Sunday the course was very busy and we were held up but the weekdays were fine. Handy to just play 9 if wanted. Personally didn’t need one but an improvement would be to have buggies available without the need for a medical note.

We played the 9 hole course 6 times and really enjoyed it. The starting and 2nd 9 joiners made the 1st/10th Tee a bit chaotic but once away the round flowed ok with 9 holes taking about 2 hours. As a hotel/resident course you also have to allow that there will be high or non handicap players. The signature 6th hole is delightful and one for the memory.

Not a course for the serious low handicapper. However very enjoyable holiday golf. The proshop were very helpful and changing tee time was not a problem.Good 19th hole.

Have enjoyed this course for many years. Although only 9 holes it is interesting and not too challenging.

A 9 hole course in good condition with some wonderful holes and views. It is however a busy course with it being part of a hotel complex. I expected to have a long round with the number of persons playing but In fairness we played 18 holes in 4 and quarter hours. To note unlike some 9 hole courses I have played the tees were the same to play 18 as were 9 holes. In conclusion I am glad I played it and had a enjoyable time there.

Nice looking course, not in the best condition. Staff didn't want to make us food when we still had 40 mins to tee off.
