Set in Roe Valley Country Park, Roe Valley Resort is a four-star base that's made for golfers who want proper facilities on site but still fancy a crack at the Causeway Coast links. I'll admit it, I like a resort where you can get a warm-up done, play 18, then swap golf shoes for spa slippers without leaving the place.
The resort sits around 35 to 45 minutes from Royal Portrush, Castlerock and Portstewart, which puts you within easy reach of three of Ireland's finest links courses, all playable as day trips while you enjoy the comfort of a fixed base. Beyond the golf, you'll find 118 bedrooms, an Elemis spa, indoor academy, driving range and three self-catering lodges for groups wanting more space and flexibility.
The Coach House Brasserie, housed in a restored 18th-century building, serves lunch and dinner with views over the course, while the spa and health suite gives you a heated pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym for post-round recovery. Whether you're planning a dedicated golf break or combining rounds on the Causeway Coast with resort relaxation, Roe Valley delivers quality golf, comfortable accommodation and easy access to Northern Ireland's championship links.
Who is this for?

With its tree-lined fairways and meticulously maintained greens, it provides a robust challenge, complemented by strategically positioned bunkers and water hazards. The course boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and comes equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a clubhouse, driving range, and professional coaching services.
We also have our own resident PGA professional to enhance your learning and playing experience. Offering a perfect blend of scenic beauty and golfing engagement, this course ensures a memorable experience for
every player.
Roe Valley Resort offers 118 bedrooms designed to suit solo travellers, couples and groups, with options ranging from comfortable standard rooms through to spacious suites and three self-catering lodges for those wanting a home-from-home feel. Each room is fitted with modern amenities, providing a quiet retreat after a day on the course or exploring the Causeway Coast links.
Standard rooms deliver everything you need for a comfortable stay, with en-suite bathrooms, flat-screen TV, tea and coffee facilities, and views over either the parkland course or surrounding countryside. Suites step up the space and comfort, ideal for longer stays or golfers wanting extra room to relax, while the self-catering lodges offer full kitchen facilities, separate living areas and multiple bedrooms, perfect for groups or families who prefer flexibility over set meal times.
The lodges work particularly well for societies or groups of friends who want to base themselves in one spot for a few days, play different courses each day, then come back to cook, have a few drinks and relive the round without worrying about restaurant bookings or meal times. It's that bit of freedom that makes a difference when you're organising a trip for eight or ten golfers.
All accommodation is set within the resort grounds, so you're never more than a short walk from the clubhouse, practice facilities or spa. It's the kind of setup that makes logistics easy, whether you're warming up before an early tee time at Portstewart or heading straight to the spa after 36 holes.
The Coach House Brasserie sits in a beautifully restored 18th-century building with panoramic views over the golf course, serving an extensive menu throughout the day. It's a popular spot with locals, families and visiting golfers, offering everything from light lunches to full evening meals in a relaxed, informal setting. The menu is broad and golfer-friendly, ideal for a relaxed lunch or an easy dinner after your round.
Post-round, the Elemis spa and health suite gives you a heated indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gym and a full treatment menu tailored to individual needs. It's a genuine retreat for those wanting to unwind, whether you're easing tired legs after 36 holes or simply taking a break from the golf.
On-site facilities also include an indoor academy and driving range, useful for warming up before heading out to the Causeway Coast courses or working on your game between rounds. With everything under one roof, accommodation, dining, practice facilities and spa, Roe Valley Resort makes it easy to focus on your golf without worrying about logistics.
Roe Valley Resort sits in Limavady, County Londonderry, with straightforward access from three airports. City of Derry Airport is 15 minutes by car, while Belfast International and George Best Belfast City Airport are both 90 minutes away, giving you flexibility on flight options.
For golfers, the location is the real draw. Royal Portrush Golf Club, host of the 2019 and 2025 Open Championship, is around 35 to 45 minutes north, with Castlerock Golf Club and Portstewart Golf Club both within similar driving distance. That puts you within easy reach of three of Ireland's finest links courses, all playable as day trips from the resort while you enjoy the comfort of a fixed base and on-site facilities.

The stay was fantastic, the staff made us feel welcome and were happy to assist wherever necessary. The location was brilliant, the golf course was in great shape and the views from the golf course were fantastic. There were so many facilities available to us and we had a nice and relaxing swim in the pool and enjoyed the sauna and steam room. The food and drink were lovely, the only problem was the drinks came out a little bit too slow. The value for what we got was outstanding and I will definitely be back in the future.

The golf course was spectacular. An average golfer could play this course as it is not the hardest course. However, there is challenges on the course with the position of bunkers and there is water challenges too. It was brilliant. The views from the golf course were spectacular.

A lovely Parkland course with some good par 5 holes. We were a group of Lady golfers and we all enjoyed playing the course as part of a night away.
